Thanks to the modi govt and the most efficient railway minister piyush ji. Electrification of this busy route was pending for decades however after 2016 I could see the electrification till solapur and from guntakal to hubali almost at the verge of completion. During childhood electrification was a distant dream however now even single line electrification is going on speedily as a mission of making indian railways 100% electrified by modi govt till 2023. First time ever in the history of indian railways post independence such a speedy development.

17226 AMARAVATI express- Instead of VISHAKHAPATNAM, this train can be routed Via GUDIVADA, BHIMAVARAM, NIDADAVOLU, RAJAHMUNDRY, SAMARLAKOTA, KAKINADA. Because in Vizag many trains starts and already PIT LINES are busy assisting the present running trains. Kakinada has less trains FROM KAKINADA TOWN OR KAKINADA PORT, so it will reduce the burden for VIJAYAWADA. And everyone knows many people from BELLARY TO KOPPAL are basically SETTLED from KRISHNA, WEST AND EAST GODAVARI, and many people who get down at Vijayawada or coming from VIJAYAWADA come/go via RATNA CHAL express. Already AMARAVATI EXPRESS STAYING IN VIJAYAWADA more than 12hrs, thats the reason I'm suggesting to extend till KAKINADA.

Stations have become really clean. That's a big change. Doubling and electrification has been pending for a very long time. Hubli is the 3rd largest city and now the SWR zonal head. Earlier railway ministers did nothing much for Karnataka.. only 4 lines existed for the people of karnataka - bangalore-mysore, Bangalore-Hubali- belgavi, guntakal-Hubali, Gadag - Vijaypura - solapur line. None of these lines were doubled .. none were electrified. Hence trains within Karnataka was limited. People depended more on buses. Only in the last 4 to 5 years, SWR has got more allocation.

Nice video bro. But compared to your other videos this is lacklusture. You have not commented sufficiently on the all the places in the route. For instance, the factory in Tornagallu is a steel factory owned by Jindals. Majority of the people in Hospet speak Kannada. While there are large chunks of Telugu population the city also has significant Tamil population when the Tungabhadra Dam was being built under the joint venture of Andhra Pradesh and then Mysore State(later renamed as Karnataka). The dam is built across the river Tungabhadra and has two main canals - Left bank passing through Raichur District and ending up in Kurnool District and right bank canal passing through Bellari District ending up in Kadapa District. Bellary supplies the material required for jeans pants. There are also many jeans manufacturing units apart from poultry units. Koppal District is newly formed about a decade old and is now the home to many poultry farms. Gadag district boasts of cotton collection and ginning mills. The cotton so ginned is bought by many traders as far as Tamil Nadu for their hosiery trade. Most of the cotton is exported to Raichur which is a hub for cotton sales strategically located on the Mumbai Chennai main trunk rail route. Regarding Hubli, it was known as Chota Bombay during the early 1940-1970s. Then it was the largest market for cotton collection. The city also had over 100 cotton mills and these were directly exported to Bombay which then had over 200 cotton mills. With the advent of polyster, terlyene the demand for cotton came down. Now we are doing a U turn. Hubli is a cosmopolitan city with Kannadigas, Gujaratis, Punjabis, Telugus, Tamilians, Bengalis and Marathi speaking population. Please narrate all these when you next make a video after full doubling and electrification. The video was nice but for the above narrations so that everybody will know about Karnataka.
