I think “donkey” might be more of a literal translation-isn’t “ass” usually synonymous with “donkey” in social terms (especially with insults)? I’m pretty sure THAT’S what Gunther’s calling Ross. Plus, I think Ross is mispronouncing the word (which makes it all the funnier.
