Now that a few five star harmony units are released I'd LOVE to see a video comparing 4 star with 5 star harmony units to see how much better the buffing actually is. The main reason I'd like to see something like this is because I already have many 4 star harmony units built, and I'm not sure whether it's worth the stellar jades (and resources to a lesser extent) to wish for and build 5 star ones.

Harmony is probably the best path for both 4 and 5 star characters, they'll always find their niche.

Like if they release a Harmony unit that greatly buffs Follow Up Attacks, and you don't like that play style or don't have the team for that, you can probably skip it.

From my testing, I found out that in the Slow Blade + Sparkle + Bronya comp, if you do: Sparkle's Skill on Blade, Blade's turn, Bronya skill on Blade, Blade Ult (before his turn starts), he gains the bonuses of both skills at the same time. I got some crisp 250k dmg ults from my E1 Blade this way

Regarding her basic attack build, if you have shared feelings S5 (recommended) or Quid Pro Quo S4 (minimum. has inconsistency problems)) on a healer and Cogs LC (or the 4star version) S5 on Sparkle, you can hit the forbidden 2 turn ult on Sparkle, making her a 3 SP/Turn generator. I can't wait to get my hand on the unit and test things out.

Hey Guoba, I've got something you missed that I feel is important to mention: E2 Bronya light cone and 5% ERR ornaments enables consistent 3T ults WITHOUT an ERR rope. I believe this is important for people to know, as an avenue for avoiding needing to farm speed substats on an ERR rope is important. Since Sparkle is a unit whose use can heavily depend on meeting breakpoints requiring lots of substats of the rarest substat in the game, allowing ANY rope to be used potentially makes that MUCH more achievable as a stat goal. Not to mention it allows for a more tanky Sparkle build too with a HP or DEF rope. And I know it may seem silly to recommend E2 of a five star cone, as it seems quite out of reach for a lot of players, but in the same vein it is very in reach for any player who happened to get one copy of Bronyas cone from standard/cone banner and then just saves enough to buy E2 from the shop (and you can save 1200 of the currency to buy two copies worst case, which sadly may be easier to do than farming for speed subs on an ERR rope lol). I personally feel that farming speed substats to hit high speed breakpoints is kinda miserable, especially when it is tied to enabling fun use of characters. An alternative avenue to enabling doing so without needing to get the rarest main stat relic with the rarest substat that also needs to hopefully roll into said substat when upgrading is a pretty big deal that should be mentioned. So my plan is to get E2 Bronya cone in the shop as soon as I get Sparkle for most of my use case for her. Anyhow, great guide as always. You finally gave me reason to farm wind set, so I am off to lose my mind there for the next seven years trying to get 161 speed for a S5 Dance^3 Sporkle build lol

I got confused on how you use DDD on fast Sparkle. You can't ult on Sparkle's turn, since that doesn't advance Sparkle and is wasted on the DPS who you will already make act after Sparkle with her skill. Using the ult on the DPS turn will advance forward Sparkle, but not the DPS so it can desync the DPS. So do you wait to use Sparkle's ult after Sparkle and your DPS already had their turn? Or am I missing something?

I’m surprised that her ult buff doesn’t tick down if used on DPS’s turn. Other ult buffs currently in the game (such as TY’s ult) don’t work this way. The only ones I know that work this way are speed buffs. Hanya’s ult also works this way because it has a speed buff component.

Funnily enough she's PERFECT for how my current Blade team is setup, despite the speed tuning when bronya uses her alt it gets all weird sometimes and desyncs, but Sparkle fixes that with ease. Combining those three with Fu Xuan and I get a nearly unstoppable team with SO MUCH crit dmg.

Revisting the idea of pure skill point basic attack spam sparkle now that Sunday is upcoming. While too early to calculate since his kit is subject to change, I was considering a basic spam sparkle + huo huo (shared feeling) + sunday + jingyuan. The idea is to allow your other 3 member of your team to use skill every single turn. Ideally, shared feeling should help sunday/jingyuan get ult more often and perhaps sunday can even funnel his ult into huo huo. I'm sure there's a more optimal rotation but I wonder how well this would perform.

Harmony characters are much harder to power creep so long term Sparkle will be better. Acheron's teams are also more restrictive before her E2 and she REALLY wants her lightcone for the extra debuff

Haven't been able to test it myself because banner hasn't changed yet, but shouldn't it be pretty decent considering she gives ATK, CRate, CDmg and IMG bonus? Or is the comp thrown to the side because action advancing messes up Roaring Bowstring timings too much to be worth it?

Broken Keel is generally better anyway and helps your supports not get CC'd. When you can't use the energy there's little point in using Penacony. Keep in mind that all our Quantum DPS have massive DMG% self steroids. If running Sparkle AND Bronya the calculus might change though, but then Bronya also has a lot of DMG% too.

@@SpielernDMG% is more valuable in a vacuum, because its the last multiplier considered, but they're multiplicative of each other, so stacking only one side is less valuable, also DMG% is already gained from example from the elemental damage% orb, and from many supports such as Bronya and Ruan Mei. For example: 100 x 1.3 x 1.3 = 169, but 100 x 1.6 x 1.0 = 160 if you get my point.

Hear me out, energy rope+vonwacq Sparkle with Meshing cogs allows her to ult from 2 basics+getting hit once. Meaning with this setup basic spam Sparkle can get ult once every 2 turns. iirc she can get an average of 3 skill points per turn. I don't know any team thet needs this, but it's a fun tid bit.

Rn, I’ve been doing some calcs for a 160 sparkle: when ppl say 160, do they mean in general, or before messenger buff? (If latter, if your running at least a 2 piece, you only need around 151 speed in substates for an actual 160 speed sparkle.)

If that’s the case, you can focus more on other stats to balance out your comp, with sparkle already giving high crit dmg, you can opt for effect res if your running keel, giving even higher dmg counts.

In general, hackerspace doesnt do much for our speed since its a 1 turn buff

@@guobacertified I’m talking about the 6% speed from 2 piece, if that’s the case, then it would help with speed tuning (also allows for 2 piece guard if you not running messenger, or already running messenger on a Tingyun.)

@@icedbobacat4303 from what I’ve gotten, people mean 160 speed In general, with or without boost, so just try to aim for that speed threshold however you can. (Also, that’s around the point where speed gets less viable for sparkle then just crit dmg.)

I'm so on the fence for Sparkle since I have E4 Bronya. My main teams are Jingliu/Seele, E4 Bronya, E2 Silver Wolf, and Fu Xuan and Kafka, Black Swan, E2 Ruan Mei, and E2 Bailu. Sparkle opens up mono quantum for Seele/QQ but for Jingliu dropping either Bronya or SW feels kind of bad. I was already unsure about Ruan Mei cause now I have a benched E6 Tingyun and Asta but Ruan Mei was a massive upgrade. I feel like outside of enabling mono quantum, Sparkle doesn't significantly outperform Bronya for my teams since I don't have trouble with SP management. I'll probably pull for her anyway because she's so future proof but idk

I’m currently on the fence. I have a lot of destruction units, Ruan Mei and bronya, but I lack sustains and allegedly, fu xuan is on the cards for a rerun very soon. Luocha’s is also due soon and I don’t have him either. Sparkle may have to go on rerun

We have 2 5 star dps for each element type, and approaching 3 for lightning and fire when we get acheron and sam. I am guessing we will get another quantum really soon. Maybe firefly or robin if they come back to life.

Came back here after Sunday’s introduction: Rn running a 144 spd 212 crit Sunday (mostly b’c I have a god spd gloves on accident, and I’m still farming crit relics :/) And a 264 crit 147 spd sparkle. This is all for my QQ, who with only a lvl 5 all trace Sunday, is doing around 100-300k singular to bosses. Her era will come boiiis.
