Well, even if he s not The One Kenny Rogers,The absolute Gambler, i ve listened three x at least the Blake Shelton s version. Stunning is adequate for describing it. Brilliant, no doubt brilliant. I do believe this version is just as good as the original from '78. And that's kind of hard to do. Taking a classic that most ALL country fans know the words to and delivering it with the same grace and warmth that Kenny did way back when. Good job Blake! Good job indeed.

Thank you, Mr. Rogers for the music over the years. My sister is 10 years older than me and listened to music all the time. The radio, phonograph, and TV she had, if I remember correctly a record by the Scholars or maybe the song was playing on the radio. I was really small and it was a long time ago but she said my love of music came out. But said that everytime I heard Mr. Rogers voice I would run over to where ever it was coming from and dance and sing along whether I knew the words or not. I had the privilege of seeing him and the First Edition at a California amusement park. He was my friend in good times also in bad times, he was always there for me and many many others. Yes, will miss him. Goodbye old friend.
