I disagree with people who say that no actual advice is given. The "got to know when to hold em, fold em, walk, run" lines mean that you have to have principles and that you should know them before you play. This is not only true for poker - it is also true for life. Know your walk away situations! The money counting does not really refer to "finding out how much it is" but to "consider it yours". (as in "count your blessings" - or counting chickens before they hatch). The person who counts their money in spite of still sitting at the table is like the runner who stumbles and falls on the home stretch because they've already been celebrating. As long as you are committed to the game (= sitting at the table), you can lose what you've won right in the next round. Your focus should be on playing - not on how much you will have won - or lost afterwards. There will be time enough to figure out what to do with the outcome of the (metaphorical) poker night afterwards. If you mark the first peace of advice (knowing your principles), it won't be too bad anyway - worrying or celebrating however, while the game isn't over will distract you from playing - so don't do it. Focus on the game.

Our family loved Kenny Rogers I was born in 1969 so right in the peak years of the all the greatest artist of the times. Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Lorreta Lynn they were all going strong in those days. Getting older now I see why people get depressed as they age the world they know is shrinking now it's happening to me. KZbin is wonderful pull up all this history for free keeps the dream alive.

The bearded wonder, the late, great Kenny Rogers, was a great singer, a great performer, and a great human being...He had a goodness, decency and genuineness that are qualities found in only a few musical artistes today...Kenny's numerous hits span decades and will continue to touch generations to come...As an actor, he was good...There will never be another quite like the late, great country music icon, Kenny Rogers.

I cant believe hes got only 545k subscribers. Kenny Rogers was HUGE!!! He was as big a star as there was. Music and movies. Hit after hit. He owned the early and mid 80s. There was Elvis and Beatles fame. And Kenny Rogers was in that rare class of fame just below that. To think that years later he would only have 545k subscribers is LITERALLY a shame and an insult.

I’m only 18 but I grew up to this music. I always have and always will love this. However, I see in the comments so many people praising Kenny for being a “good” man, and that is something I can’t agree with. I have a friend, and her mother is an amazing singer. Such a beautiful voice, and beyond that she is an amazing woman too. Unfortunately, she was in an awful accident in her earlier years and it left a scar on her face. Now when she back living out south, she got the opportunity to meet and play with Alabama and Kenny Rogers. She always mentions how truly wonderful people Alabama is, but she didn’t have the same words for Kenny. He told her that her scar made her ugly (and also mentioned her weight because she is not the skinniest of people) and that life in the music industry was not for her because no one would want look at her. Kenny Rogers made good music. He had heart and soul and you can see the true passion he had for it while singing. But, he was not per se a good person. And maybe he was different in his much younger years. But from his 50s on up? He was not the nicest of people.

In a way, Kenny Rogers has found eternal life. I only discovered this song today, and thanks to these videos, I can still enjoy his music. Kenny Rogers' music will be enjoyed by future generations, thanks to these uploads. He lives on through these videos and the people who still appreciate his music.
