talked with icici , they said say which happened under this last 4 year and i talked with an regional level manager (he is known to me) he said me rheumatic arthritis is not ped so you can get policy but get a addon later so that expenses covered but agent said if you have ra you cant get policy ...what to do my brother has ERA but he is fit and fine with opd treatment never got admitted

Mam I purchased a policy in hurry with some mistakes in PED ( mentiond as prediabatic just by assuming age factor as there was no recent checkups) then they asked to submit latest HbA1c report, then i got tested and report was normal also before that never had diabatic issue, then they issued policy with loading for diabities and i requested to correct the PED(to remove diabities) but they didnt corrected and issued the policy, so i cancelled that after issuence, now should i purchase the same with exact details, or look for another one?

I seriously don't understand this disclosure clause set by the insurance company who use this as a tool to reject claims. Government should intervene and ban this disclosure clause. When the insurance company is underwriting a health or term policy they should conduct all the required medical checks of my current health before issuing the policy. I think time for a disruption due in this industry and I hope some firm comes in to disrupt unethical means used by the insurance companies!!

I do agree with most of what you say.. but point 2 regarding due diligence: it takes a lot of time and effort. The policy wording documents are long, and often include technicalities beyond a common man. That's the purpose of the agent, to help understand it. We are busy with our own lives, our own line of work and it isn't easy putting in hours reading through long policy documents - each company has several policies, and different wordings for them and the riders. Mis-selling has become an overused word, but it's smoke from a fire that is very real. I have found it very difficult to trust the agents I've spoken to, especially when I've found that the policy wordings differ from what I've been told. So yes, I'm busy with my own due diligence because as you say the information is freely available. Problem is, there is so much information to go through. I must however compliment you for the quality of your content. I have only discovered your channel recently, and haven't stopped watching it since. I wish the insurance agents I've spoken to were half as aware as you are.

mam star health ne mera claim reject kardiya. keh rahe hai ki ICP ( indoor case papers) single handwritten hai. but isme hamari kya galti hai. jaise doctor ne bill bana ke diye ham to vahi denge na.

sabse badi takleef customer ki soch hai. customer ko jab koi loading aata hai kisi bhi pre-existing ka to usko samjhana bahut mushkil kam hai. wo customer samajne ko ready nahi rehta. customer apni galti kabhi nahi manta humesa Advisor aur Company ko galat sabit karne me laga rehta hai.
