Hi, this is the original footage of Guru Dev to which I have overdubbed Maharishi speaking about Guru Dev & recording of Guru Dev at the event which was being filmed. Originally the film used to be shown without sound, but since there were many wire recordings made at this event it seems foolish not to assemble some sort of soundtrack, as I'm sure it was intended. Instead the filmstock and wire recordings lay about and deteriorated. KZbin is a great place to share the nuggets and jewels.

It was said that they would set up speakers in a field with no one around and Guru Dev would begin speaking and in just a short while thousands would gather to listen. I love seeing those old images of Maharishi with his black beard and hair. I never imagined I would ever hear Guru Dev's voice. Name and form is an important part of Vedic philosophy so perhaps I received something extra from hearing it. J.G.D.
