🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏 No permission is required. Lung or transmission or empowerment is beneficial, of course, as you also receive (usually) teachings and guidance. There's also a difference between the lung (oral transmission) of a mantra and full empowerment, which includes permission to also visualize the body (self-visualize), etc. But anyone may chant Guru Rinpoche's mantra without permission and it is certainly beneficial. The only requirements are Bodhichitta Intention and faith.

The merit and your dedication purifies negative karma, which together with the increasing merit, helps provide opportunities to meet your teacher in future. Guru Rinpoche's teachings are very complete and profound, so you can certainly learn most of what you'll need (until then) through the published teachings. We try to publish the most meritorious practices on our channel and on our website portal at buddhaweekly.com. His mantra is a very complete practice, and as indicated in the details, it has many benefits (including blessings from the Five Buddha Families. I'd recommend the 7 Line Dharani of Guru Rinpoche as well, it's very profound and powerful and vast merit.His chanted Dharani is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYGym6OOYs2Mjq8 Especially if you are interested in Guru Rinpoche's teachings, there are many translated books. Hi Samy, thank you for watching and your question. No empowerment is needed for this mantra. Having transmission is always valuable and empowerming (pun intended) but it's not required to benefit from the sacred mantra of the great Guru Rinpoche.
