This essay is about the idea that marriage is more than just a couple of two persons. it affects the whole society and community. Marriage can be called an institution because the relationship between the couples is recognised by law as a means of meeting social, economic, physical, and family requirements. Marriage is important for a man as it gives shape to a person's life, makes him dutiful and also manages his desires. Acc to statistics, married men are less likely to suicide than unmarried people. Marriage also helps in forming social capital because it is based on trust. It keeps both partners sexually faithful. He also talks about unmarried cohabitation or simply "living together". However, in my opinion, it's not good since such relations mostly tend to produce a breach of faithfulness to one's partner.
