I think it's genius that it's in a minor key. Idk most German marches are in a Major key and makes the fight seem glorious but also without a terrible amount of depth. When it is minor, I feel that the weight of war is more apparent. It's glorious but also real. All military marches should be in minor I feel it's disingenuous otherwise of the subject material - unless the major marches are arranged to portray this reality.
