Not to mention the Latrell late hit on J.A.C.... no one seems to be talking about that game, except for 'how bad the dogs where' except the fact the lost 2 players to concusion, 1 for the game, and another player sent off for 10 minutes, let's take wighton off for 10 minutes, and latrell out for the game, and see who wins.

I agreed with you until you brought the GF into it. That wasn't anywhere near the same. This one the Tigers player jumped in the air to drop his legs onto the Parra player who was stationary. Haas on Cleary was nothing like that at all.

Sometimes I disagree with Gal’s logic, but I agree with the hip drop. A classic example of a smaller player deliberately aware of a larger attacker and instinctively using his weight to halt momentum. Malice..no..a little milking…perhaps…different than seen before perhaps…ruling ?? Correct in my opinion.

He said it’s not the traditional hip drop he is right. When 3 people are in a tackle and someone hip drops is the type he’s talking about. If the guy Galvin tackled didn’t pass the ball he would have still been fighting it was unusual.

I think Gus is trying to explain different "types" of hip-drop tackles. Yes it was a hip-drop but it was a tackle that came about in a different way. The player tackled was facing his own try line and wasn't moving very far and potentially was tackled after he tapped the ball back to his teammate.
