Love Gus and usually agree with him but as a Titans fan who watches Fifita week in week out, his defensive frailties of passed years have been rectified and then some this year. 4 missed tackles in his last month of football. His application has been solid even since the start of 2023 so anyone questioning his work ethic are just re-using tropes from back in Fifita's 2021/22 days. He's getting through crazy work and still providing destructive attack.

As a Roosters fan, when we got: Sonny Bill= Oh yeaaaah! Tedesco = Woo hoo! Cooper Cronk = OMG yeah!!!! Cheese Smith= yes Yes Yes Fifita= ok but why? We have so many back rowers. I have never seen or heard such a divide on a player by Roosters fans and those that were happy about Fifita going to the Roosters were not fully convinced.
