There is a vendetta from certain media towards Gus, he's a target, as successful people usually are. Look at his record in the game, if you don't like him you'll point directly to his exit from Penrith but not the fact that his involvement was when junior development pathways began for the current generation of dominance at the Panthers, if you like him you'll likely recall his success at origin, at canterbury in 88, at Penrith in the '90s, and kickstarting the rooster's success into the 2000s. The vast majority of the Bulldogs fanbase is 100% behind Gus at the club and the long-term vision, if your shortsighted you think there's pressure, pressure always comes in the pursuit of success regardless
