Fun fact based on title: Shakespeare’s plays used to have to compete for attention with Bear-Bating, sideshows where they would chain a bear to a post and sick dogs on it. In order to stay afloat, his plays had to be more captivating than freaking BEARS VS DOGS. Also, RIP Eddy’s beard progress.

A fun cheap way to get a similar experience of the hunting down thing that me and my friends did in highschool was at night time one person was the "searcher" and we would all get dropped off a ways away from one of our houses then in pairs of 2 we would try to make it back to the house. The searcher would drive around and try to find us, if they saw you they'd honk twice and you'd get in the car with them and help look out for the other players. Tons of fun, great adrenaline rush.

I once had to stare down a band of 3 literally starving coyotes, it was during a drought and these motherfuckers didn't leave to somewhere with food yet. They tried to surround me while I was on a hike on a small mountain. I threw a rock as a hail mary when they started chasing me and actually got one good in the side, the rest seemed reluctant after that and when I started screeching like a maniac they pissed off. Makes me wish I had my boys.

Definitely take a step back and try to get a handle on it, mine got out of control and I've dealt with it my entire adult life. Some people just have it happen a few times through out their entire life during moments of high stress, but if it happened once it most likely will again. So definitely take care of yourself Gus, cause I would give my legs to have my mental health back. Would be sad to see someone as creative as you lose your spark.

Talking about games where you hunt people; I come from a really small town that's generally a mile square. At night, a bunch of us kids would play a game we called KGB. The goal was to get from the gas station to the football field (one end of town to the other). There would be two or three kids in a spotter car with high powered lights, and the rest would be trying to get away. It was so much fun. The runners couldn't get in a car or enter a house, and we had street boundaries. The kids who got caught joined the spotter truck. We all pretty much grew up in this town, so we knew the houses, the layout, which yards had dogs, etc. It was awesome.

I doubt you'll ever read this, but what you need is a compressor and a limiter in order to make it so that the quiet parts are louder and the loud parts arent too loud. It's pretty standard, I recommend getting the izotope ozone plug in, throw it on voiceover mode, and you'll pretty much be good to go.
