Wow! What a scintillating performance. Easily rivals Tennstedt's with the LPO from 1991, and this has better soloists, IMO. Haitink and the Concertgebouw were at the height of their powers in 1985 and it shows here. To hold those around one thousand people together takes some direction. Wonderful, right to the final tight note. Thank you for posting it.
