Little stiffed, ha? Check out my channel, I am the baddest there is, there was and there ever will be. I play 14 instruments at will and am a bass virtuoso and composer by birth and a violinist by education. If you want to see a tough guy listen to David Oistrakh. There are only a few real men in rock music, especially with long hair. Check out the Bhrams violin concerto if you think you have heard what is heavy weight and stop fooling yourself with all the rock sissies there are. And if you're still crying, Chicago Transit Authority can help you overcome the pain of no real men. Terry Kath was a man. Today manhood is so endangered that being like Guthrie Govan, nice and easy with no hate in your eyes means a great thing, so like I said: The nicest guy among guitarists and the nicest guitarist among guys. But your comment is very funny and I consider it to be a joke or something like that, you seem nice also. So don't worry, just think about other things too. Cheers!

@@amitaygeyer3287 totally agree. GG is a fine musician, but he is not a jazz player. this statement is not a criticism nor a put down, nor meant to be competitive. He plays some nice diminished arpeggios and some fast phrase which skirts the changes, but he does not have the jazz syntax. He is an amazing musician who brings musicality to whatever he plays. Everytime someone asks me who's the best guitarist out there p4p, string by string, fret to fret, it's always this man Guthrie Govan. Then they ask me why, i show them this. Everyone can shred that's given but to be this articulate and creative and humorous all at once and gives alot of wisdom when teaching is one of a kind.

The Best, Superb Be-Bop, loved the double stop country section, then I knew what he was up to, then Blues, awesome Metal Legato, big smile, joy to watch, not arrogant or look at me, though he knows he is the man, and finished up with Wes Montgomery octave thing, like rounding third base, after hitting a Home Run. Which he always does. Wish he would make more instruction videos, I could only scratch the surface.

That is true but there it is a similar case with Brent Mason in the US. Check out the Hot Wired album. He is also eclectic and about same generation and if Guthrie wins in shredding then Brent wins in even more tasty Jazz and Country licks and definitelly in the tone department. Guthrie sounds body-less as a plectrum sound producer, very pointy and unpleasant au contraire to his appearance. Not glad about it but just have to pretend that he sounds good when he does not in fact. Sorry. :(
