Any and every one of these legends, that "something" is squeeze as much different exercises out of every concept. If you can alternative pick in 4s, 5s, 6s, 8s there's nothing stopping you from practicing each and every rythmic pattern.. These kind of people actually go ahead and do it, and have done so for years and years.. Check out drumming paradiddles, you can translate them to up/down strokes, that's at least a couple of years worth of "training" material
@crotts19843 жыл бұрын
@@notauniquehandle you’re right on there, had a guitar instructor turn me on to rhythms for guitar. Think of it this way, there are 2 different strokes, up and down. Think of 4/4 time and there are 4 beats. There are 2^4 different strumming patterns, 16 patterns. We’ll you can subdivide to 8th notes, and now 2^8 patterns, or 256 patterns. You can subdivide to triplets and 16th notes and C the list just gets larger. My guitar instructor when working through some of the 8th note patterns then told me you start mixing and matching the patterns each measure to get build longer patterns or just have a fluid changing rhythm that is always in time and in the pocket.
