Great video, Ryan! I can’t wait to see what comes next-the new shift mechanism install!!! That install, to me, looks like one of those where getting it 90% done will be fairly straightforward. The remaining 10%, the adjustment, will be where the devil lives. Good luck, my friend, I’m anxiously awaiting the removal of the old shift mechanism and the installation of the new!

Yes. Indeed. The devil is in the details! Getting good adjustment is critical, I'm told. I plan on doing some test runs before I put the interior back in the car.

Absolutely. It's honestly not bad once you get over the reservations of just getting in there and taking things apart. Everything's pretty easy to work on. Nothing's rested or seized because everything's aluminum. It's a nice vehicle to work on actually.

The Evora appealed to me because it's an achievable dream car. I love Lambos and Ferrari too. But the lotus was doable. So now I'm living and loving the dream.

Not sure if you have the same rattles behind the dash as me, but ive been wanting to get behind it. Tried for a little bit with the service manual to figure out even getting the head unit out but got cold feet not wanting to lose clips or damage anything. Would LOVE if you did a video on pulling the head unit or getting behind the dash to fix whatever rattles are going on up there!

I'll probably do that eventually. I do want to upgrade the head unit. But that's secondary to driving performance at the moment. But for sure little rattles can come from clips or something back there. I'll put it on my list. Thanks for reaching out.

If you have the heated seat option you will also have a plug to the passenger side seat. ;)

Where you able to get the blue part or have one machined. Mine broke

Basically i swapped out for the inokinetic shifter and cables. Got two videos on that process. I still have a blue ball and shift lever for sale that came out of my 2011. It's currently unbroken but it's old and likely to break in the future.
