Betapac Curry from Jamaica is the best Curry on the planet. No disrespect to India but Jamaica Curry goat, Curry Chicken, curry shrimp and Curry grouper fish is next level. Remember that England are the ones that created the meat pie and Jamaica took it to the next level and created Jamaican beef patties. England were the ones that created the Plum cake and Jamaica took it to the next level and created Black cake. So yes, Curry originated out of India but Jamaica Curry dishes are next level. I don't think there are any Indian dishes that are going to taste as great as Jamaican curry goat, Curry shrimp, Curry chicken and Curry fish. Especially when the Jamaican chef uses Betapac Curry. There are thousands of Indian people living in Jamaica and they cook the Jamaican way not the Indian way like they do in Guyana and Trinidad. The Caribbean spices are more flavorful which makes the food taste better. Scotch bonnet peppers and pimento wood and pimento leaves and pimento berries are not used in Indian cooking. So right there you are at a disadvantage. India is a much bigger country than Jamaica so base on that your frozen foods etc will be in more supermarkets and you will have more restaurants worldwide but that is quantity. But if you are talking about flavor and quality, Jamaica and Caribbean cooking will win everytime.
