My brother showed me that all the lights for all directions at a 4 way controlled intersection would turn green at the same time. The city's traffic engineer said it was impossible and he refused to come look for himself as well as saying my brother was probably drunk. This went back and for for a couple of months. So my brother took a video and showed that at a city council meeting. And he told of how the traffic engineer is rude and called my brother a liar.

I live in clackamas county, oregon, about 420,000 people live in the county, sometimes the commissioners meeting unless there is some hot button topic there might only be 12 people in the crowd, and half of those people are there on a regular basis. Latley though school board meetings seem to be where the action is though, people talking about masks and vaccines and such.

Heres our Council track record: a) water plant update, no government permit or government approved blueprints, sourced or secured, b) council bought a painting for Thirty Thousand Dollars (30,000.00) to hang in Town office...Four Hundred Fifty (450) only One Hundred and Sixty (160) rate payers...please think of this why would a Town commission a painting at this level...by the way...the painting has not be completed Five (5) later c) above noted water plant went Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars over budget (450,000.00) filters purchased and installed for Eighty Thousand Dollars (80,000.00) that have never been brought on line d) Five (5) out of Twenty (20) Fire Hydrants, were non functional, for years...Three (3) were totally replaced, with over One Hundred Feet (100) of piped rotted and crushed...totally crushed. All were in the proximity to the senior home...e) purchase land for Sixty Thousand (60,000.00) to which the town, never received a title for land has been told several now times, no pay back to the Town Four (4) years later f) changed garbage suppliers costing rose via Three Hundred Percent (300 %) per year...this is a non expiry contract...

My wife and i bought our first house 8 years ago and our property taxes went up $3500.00 in 3years and 11months before we sold it. Thats $875 a year!!! It went from $6700.00 to $10,200.00. Moved out to the rural area of my state (mostly farms) and my property taxes went up $200 in 4 years.. $9800.00 to $10k.. Also went from a house built in the 60’s on .16 of an acre to a new construction home on 4.5 acres. I feel this guys pain and then some.. The hard working American get shafted more and more..

The one councilmember mumbled "that's the way life is" when this guy was talking about the road project over budget. What kind of response is that? "Project went over budget and we spent more of your money. I don't know why. That's the way life is." And we're just supposed to shrug and go along with it? Bad.
