The thing is that when you start off riding or driving at 17 , a little moped or 850 mini seems fast . Then as you progress every step up is massive. Then when you get on a 1000cc bike for the first time and feel the power difference it scares or excites you. But people like Guy, or Rossi or Marquez etc are miles above the rest of us and it’s just another day at the office for them. 👍

I’m paralysed from the waist down from a crash racing motorbike’s. I highsided it at Croft and landed right on my arse and crushed my coccyx, Sacrum and all 5 of my lumbar vertebrae which damaged my spinal cord and caused severe nerve damage. I’d give literally anything to be able to ride for 1 more day.

It’s so true though! I think the best example all of us riders experience is going from a 125 to a 400-600 and up to a litre bike. Smaller down the scale compared to the 250-300+ mental bikes out there but it’s exactly the same feeling. I felt the same after getting off the ZH2, nothing compressed my chest and made breathing harder before on a bike, whereas that one did haha!
