Love your content, but Bill Warner's Loring record is legit. The Loring Timing Association is recognized by the SCTA. Loring is 2-1/2 miles of B52 runway, the record was set at 1-1/2 miles. Bill met his demise a few years later attempting to break 300 at the mile at Loring. Bill's accomplishment of reaching 311 mph on a sit-on bike should not be understated or discounted. Come on over to Maine and run the traps on the fastest track in the USA before you knock another's records, we'd love to have you!

Here comes another World Record I reckon. I watched all his shows on Fox. He has so many World Records. 1 of my favourites is his beloved Transit van fitted with a Twin Turbo Eco Boost V6 around the Nurburg Ring. That is insane. Just to do the Isle of Man TT race takes huge balls. He must have balls the size of boulders. I would love to have seen Sabine Schmit RIP 😪😪😪 take it around The Ring to see what it could do ?

You should try Prestwick airport it's the longest runway in Europe mate give it a go top gear have filmed there and it has been aloud to hold raves so you can ask mate

I don't think finding long runways is the issue - it's finding long runways that aren't being used by aircraft, and Prestwick is kinda busy. Having said that, if he could use Prestwick the crowds would be fantastic.

Busy and Prestwick are not usually found in the same sentance. Macrahanish runway has been reported as being in very poor condition.

@@learigg It has become a lot quieter for passenger aircraft over the last five years, but there's still freight. Using the main runway would require shutting it down for a period of time - half a day, a full day, two days...I don't know, but I certainly wouldn't want to be paying the bill. I'd also imagine that Prestwick is an emergency diversion/alternate airport for Glasgow Airport. Maybe it is a plausible alternative, but like everything, it's going to come down to cost.
