Great Video Guy, Iv flown the t67 a number of times and to handle what you did was amazing. It took me 5 hours to master landing so hats off to you pulling off that greaser in the tiger moth!! Jealous of you in the hurricane, keep it up I have a lot of respect for your natural ability
Thing I like so much about Guy is no matter what task is asked of him by a professional, if its flying, driving, cycling etc he ALWAYS comes away with the admiration of the Pro..

I've done a fair bit of this, some of it against ex-RAF pilots. It's great fun and an interesting change from competition aeros. It's also a great use for our RV-8 because it supposedly handles a lot like a WW2 fighter.

I suggest that when you fireballed that motorcycle that one time etc, you had that thing happen to you which I read about in a WWII account. This Pacific pilot bent down to clear his jammed airplane machineguns, like a Hellcat. Then an AA round went through his front window & out his headrest, where his head had been. So this pilot says to himself "Oh, I'm not going to get killed in this war." He just lost all fear. He lived. At the time, everyone probably assumed he had lost his marbles.

I had the privilege of flying with Greeners as my instructor this past week with his Ultimate High Flying School for my 40th birthday. Honestly the most exhilarating experience of my life and on that anyone can do - get yiur friends and family to club together for it and make memories.

@@johnmurphy5161 if I was born 100 yrs ago pmsl, 1941/42 🤣😂🤣😂. Plz enlighten me, what has he done that's not engine/engineering based, tt, built a barge, brought a merlin engine, helped with a ww1 (which is 100 yrs ago) tank. He's just a man, he's a man's man to the wet snowflake victim generation coz they know no better.
@johnmurphy51613 жыл бұрын
U say he's done all that stuff as if its nothing man, aint no one goina have someone who died back in the 50's as there ultimate mans man. Wether a snowflake or not. Im a former footballer who also played alot of county hurling in my younger days and i still see guy as a champion, if not for having the big balls it takes to do even 1 tt not even mentioning all the records he's tryna achieve along with teaching people about old britain and the nascent industrial times... a true legend of a man.

@@johnmurphy5161 footballer! Pmsl, so are girls! U said he's the ULTIMATE man's man. I said he's a petrol head. Having owned several bikes and surrounded by petrol heads all my life I know how big balls need to be. Still sultanas against paddy maine. You might wonna listen to guys comments about the few and how in aww he is. Paddy had bigger balls than the few. So, no mention that he'll be in the only 2-seat Hurricane with that very competent woman pilot behind him, ready to take over at any time? No, I thought not..
@nickp60673 жыл бұрын
What are you expecting? Hes not a pilot... Of course he will be in a plane with dual controls They aren't just going to slap someone in a Hurricane with only a few lessons in dog fighting. He wouldn't know how to take off or land
@Channel-os4uk3 жыл бұрын
That's obvious. My point was that the tv company presented it initially as if he was going to be fully trained up to fly it alone, with no mention of a 2 seater. In the event, he was squashed into the rear seat trying to peer over the pilot.
@tobytaylor21543 жыл бұрын
@@Channel-os4uk TV companies aren't truthful! Pmsl, and the relevance you make of the sex of the pilot and their compentacy shows me 118. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
