For those wondering, his Spanish is perfect. He has a Mexican accent when speaking. He does have a very slight accent (almost non existent), but more to do with the rhythm in pronounciation of certain words. What’s cool is that he sounds native. Hard to do if you didn’t grew up speaking the language.

i have this friend who's learning spanish, he's literally still learning for about 7 months and when he came up and talk to me, i was so shocked because he really sounds like a native speaker like literally (i'm french-argentinian btw).

@Taco De Carne that’s correct, it takes practice to sound native. Holly did go to school as a kid in Mexico, so she definitely had an advantage. In regards to his accent, he sounds closest to Mexican. I live in Los Angeles and many Mexicans sound just like him.

@Taco De Carne Si suena mexicano pero norteño quizás como mexico-americano fluido y en el caso del acento de Holly depende del nivel educativo que tienes, no es lo mismo si hablas con un universitario a que si hablas con el viene viene que te va a decir "tsss chale carnaaaaal" con un acento chilango super marcado, lo que he notado (y esto sucede en todos los países y con todos los idiomas) es que el nivel educativo tiende a reducir los acentos, escucha a Juan José Arreola, Cortázar a Pablo Neruda, tienen ligerísimos acentos de sus respectivos paises pero se reducen al mínimo. En un video Zach Morris analiza el inglés de Holly e incluso en inglés dice que ella suena como alguien que recibió un nivel educativo superior lo que no es de sorprender ya que el padre de Holly tiene un PhD y obviamente estuvo expuesta a un vocabulario mas complejo y a una mejor dicción desde muy pequeña.

It is the best way! When I went to Mexico to live I didn't know hardly any Spanish. After a few months, even though I was studying, I still wasn't grabbing it. Then I cancelled my DirectTV (English), and watched local shows. Also I began speaking only Spanish in my own head! I went on a total English boycott (even in my head for 3 years and finally I gained a commanding control of the language. Many people don't need quite as severe an immersion, but I am a bit slow on languages...
