I went in asking for exactly this about 12 years ago. The salon manager worked on me and just used the small spiral curlers and wrapped the hair very loosely. Then she talked on the phone too long and over processed me and when my hair eventually dried, it was fried and so frizzy I actually cried. I called and told her how bad it was and she said well, I'll do a free color job on you... bitch, do you seriously think I'm going to let you touch my hair again? I told her exactly how to do this in advance!

exactly what i was thinking. plus perms like that never last long. two weeks after its dropped and it will look like a ball of fuzz on her head. slightly smaller sections, slightly various sizes of rollers, and using an end paper to get in those narky ends would have helped. its too easy to over process when the sections are so big. 20 mins processing? id never dream of leaving a perm on for longer than 5- 8 mins max on non-virgin hair unless it was a progressive perm solution that processes differently from the traditional ones... end papers protect the ends as far as im aware..... idk. poor girl. olaplex or not, avoid the harm in the first place. idk. not trying to bitch at all im just amazed. but what do we know, were just lowly hairdressers ;)

I really dislike when people label things as "basic." Usually, it is natural things they want to label as "basic" but using it with negative connotation. In reality, we shouldn't be telling someone a natural feature of theirs is basic. ie: the client's straight hair. There are other terms that can be used. I just think basic sounds so bitchy and catty. It is straight hating on people. I don't remember when bullying became cool.

Do you know how to do black people hair? Like do you know how to style it or dye it. Just out of curiosity
Fasika H But the overwhelming majority of them have hair that is dark brown and heavily textured. There is variety in how tightly curled a black person's hair might be, but overall it is very different than the hair types typically displayed on this channel. On some rare occasions there are black people with straight hair, but it's so rare that it's merely an exception to prove the rule.
