As someone who has been doing Wotlk private servers for years. What the fuck is going on? What is this damage? Why is there a tentacle? What is heroic+?

Heroic+ is basically harder verions of the heroics blizzard made after phase 1 (naxx/eoe/os) Heroic+ was made in phase 2 and drops naxx gear, heroic++ was made in phase 3 and drops ulduar gear

Heroic+ (Alpha Protocol) and Heroic++ (Beta Protocol) was blizzards way of making heroics still somewhat relevant deeper into the expansion. They both add different augmentations to make the heroics either harder or adding more health and damage. Alpha protocol drops Naxxramas 10man loot, ilvl 200 and was added in Ulduar patch as catchup and Beta protocl drops Ulduar 10man loot (ilvl 225) and was added now in the ToGC patch as catchup. Also the 10mans now drop the loot from the 25mans in the lesser raids and completing a Beta protocol dungeon rewards you with Sidereal Essence that you can buy Ulduar 10 Hardmode loot from (ilvl 239-245). In HoL and HoS Beta dungeon, all mobs health is increased by like 600% but for every second per mob you spend in combat you get an increasing stack , when it reaches 100 you get the blessing of the four ancients in Ulduar (Freya, Hodir, Thorim and Mimiron) thats the same as the Yogg+4 encounter in Ulduar on top of giving you 100% damage increased for 100 stacks. There are also tentacles placed out in the dungeon that requires you to have the buff (same as Thorim uses) to zap the tentacles once they "die", otherwise you loose your sanity and become mindcontrolled

I quit wotlk because my server ONLY had gdkp's where people would show up with literally millions of RMT'd gold.. A normal player can't even play the game it's so bad.

Well non heroic is a joke for everyone. But I hope u get some gear. Try watching a guide and join a real raid, so u can start farming heroic gear for icc. If I see u playing wrath I suggest u will need heroic loot in order to kill non heroic icc

@@alihorda no, there are absolutely no braindead mechanics and grinding will be always be part of games like this genres. You still thinking through arcade-based Retail prism mindset. As I said - core MMORPG elements - socializing, challenging and hostile open world, exploration mechanics, survival aspects where defensive and utility skills play major role constantly, paced character progression, unique classes with niche abilities, fail penalty (you die - you lose time), importance of choice and many other things that are absent in retail
