So glad to see project refantasy fully realized! I remember first hearing about it years ago, and slowly gained more interest the more I got into Atlus. Refantasy was always in the back of my mind, so to now have it come out feels unreal! From the opening, I just know this game will be something very special to me, as I hope it is to all who play it!

My favourite part of the demo was when I put my actual name (Louise) and the narrator acted like it was a really weird and foreign name, only for the main antagonist to have almost the same name lol I guess what they aimed for doesn't work as well if you're from western Europe

Picked it up yesterday for PS5, then i found out my controller was broken. So I only played about 5 minutes of it. I purchased a new controller today, so now its time to dive all the way in. Im a HUGE P5 fan, so this game should be right up my alley.

In the demo you can fully heal with the main character as mage when killing enemies on the field. It replenishes MP.

I just got the collector’s edition in the mail yesterday, and I’m entirely looking forward to delving into this game. As much as I enjoy the Persona series, we haven’t gotten a brand new mainline entry in it since eight years with Persona 5: only rereleases like with Persona 5 Royal, spin-offs like with Persona 5 Strikers and Tactica, or remakes like with Persona 3 Reload. But getting a brand new, fantasy-driven RPG from the same team behind that game sounds like an amazing time, and I can see this easily being a contender for GOTY once I inevitably put dosens of hours into it lol

Is it faster paced than Persona 5R? I've been trying to finish P5R since it came out on Switch but always drop it off because of it's slow pace.

If you consider it slow-paced that's your perrogative, but I will say it's one of the games with better pacing in the series. You might not enjoy Persona 3 very much because the story in that game is a really slow burn that gets good at the end.

Great game that really ramps up as you progress through the intro. Loving it so far. I can tell this is another gem of a game from Atlus. This has been a great year for them!

I played it yesterday, its interesting like Persona with Social Links but instead of having a fixed HUB, the player is in constant moviment to a destiny. The battle menus are a bit over the top though, its not like Persona 5 or 3 Reload that everything has one predominant color, no in Metaphor the menus have a lot of colors and is kinda difficult to understand properly what each command does, other than that the game is enjoyable.

I think you'll see why if you play the demo. The game is literally, a Metaphor. It's a little unsubtle in it's theming bit it never feels poorly written.

ngl those graphics look really dated, it looks like fire emblem three houses but with higher resolution… at least FE3H had the excuse of being a 2019 game for the nintendo switch, unlike Metaphor a 2024 game on the ps5 no less, if im paying the premium $70 it better it gotta look like a premium game, not talking about the art style or the ui btw, but the actual graphics
