Dodge bot users rely on an automated scrip that auto-detect specific spells, mainly BURST spells or CC.
You will notice they will evade them all which enhance their chance to win by a lot since they gain Dodges benefits + condi attack dmg AND never gets hit by important spells from opponent.
They're chance of winning is amplify by 200% which is why you may think that they are extremely good... when in fact, they use a 3rd party tool you can actually "pay" and download on pirate site... which is also illegal.
I did tried to report some of them in the past by Anet didn't ban them... so I stopped reporting them and I will just let them destroy their own game.
When people leave the game, they will be cheating by themselve in an empty server. Pretty much what will happen one day.
I won't report her. Waste of time. She'll probably get a 2 weeks ban, then re-do it again. Dodge bot are very popular and undetectable as well.
The only way you can know is if you have a lot of WvW roaming experience. You can tell by using a spell how they dodge... but to confirm, you need to record it, then re-watch it in very slow motion and see "when" they dodge and if it's a pattern.
I think skilled players don't need to cheat if they are skilled.
So when you see someone that is "very good" and dodges all your CC... record it and re-watch your match in very slow motion to verify.

The only way to know if they use dodge bot is to record your battle and use an editing software app ( I use Da Vinci free version ) and slow edit the part where they dodge ( cut segment ) they slow it down to 90-95% speed. The game is so fast that you can't detect with your eyes in real time.

idk some look sus, sometimes it just looks as if they evade/ invurn every time you get close. its difficult to tell since you don't do any meaningful damage :( there are also a few casts of distortion that don't seem to be reactive at all. a few dodges can also be explained by them avoiding your mechs attack

@@SvenWM have you ever succeded to dodge an instant spell ( ex: thief steal ) after it has been executed? ( no dodging before ). Pls record it, and slow it down to 95% speed so we can all confirm your argument. Thx

In the last week EU people in my guild have posted vids in our discord of players literally flying up onto the walls of SM 🤣 I also see some of my guild complaining how a druid had taken 4 of them on at once (and these are good players), so I jumped on my Bow soulbeast which bursts people whilst on mounts in seconds, he was fighting the camp guards so unloaded my full burst combo into his back only to take 10% hp off him 🤣🤣🤣 naaahhh mate nothing sus there mate. He then turned around and killed me in 3 hits lol

My favourite is Dragonhunter pulling people using stunbreak scripts and watching them instant break out of a pull that was less than 2 seconds from cast, even when they dont see me do it. Or nade builds with auto aiming, if you go behind a wall quickly, say through portal, they will still throw nades into a wall exactly where you are without possibly knowing.

umm shatter 4 is not the only source of distortion for mirage...

3 sec of distortion = shattered distortion with 3 clones. 1 sec distortion with her build = Sword 2 ( blurred frenzy ) In most case, she uses shattered distortion as you can't get 3 sec distortion with sword 2. She's not using Blurred inspiration trait either since she ain't using inspiration spec.

I know this build. My boy made one like a month ago. Gear isn't full Cele, it's a mix. I won't say of what because I don't want to keep running into mesmers running this shit. The build is broken af. As for them using a cheat client. Could be, not sure and I don't think so from watching the vid, but overall that build is broken and needs to be deleted from the game. And it's 4 seconds of Distortion not 3. You have to count the mes as well.

worst part about mirage "dodge" you can't really visually tell they are invuln untill after you attacked them, and by then you already wasted a skill or two. such an awfull design choice.

or by watching their buff bar its a visual on their buff bar not the most visible but it is there

probably a poor disabled person without arms having to play with their feet and needing some "automated assistance". anet will surely understand. they have been understanding for the last 12 years after all.
