This was the moment when Gwen was at her best and strongest. She finally bowed out of this truly one-sided relationship gracefully and left with dignity. I honestly wish that this was her last scene and that the writers didn't bring her back to become her worst self again. I have always loved Gwen I hated that they turned her so evil towards the end that wasn't her It was like the writers gave her a lobotomy. @mia Theresa only stabbed Gwen once because she had a very serious medical condition while she was pregnant. It is Gwen fault for leaving the hospital when she was pregnant with Sarah and she knew she had problems. Theresa did not go after Ethan when Gwen was pregnant with Sarah. Theresa went to LA because Whitney invited her to go with chad and her. Theresa never knew Ethan and Gwen was in LA she did not want to fight with Gwen but Gwen did not listen to her doctors orders of staying in the hospital. Theresa and Ethan should have been married since the beginning, the only reason why Ethan and Gwen met was because of their mothers. Their mothers were bffs since like they were teenagers, so Ethan and Gwen would have never met if it weren't for their mothers.

Tanya Hamilton Gwen gave Ethan MANY opportunities to get out of their marriage and be with Theresa. There were several times where Gwen flat-out told him "you need to choose between us". Every single time Ethan responded with "don't worry, I love you and I want to be with you and not Theresa". If Gwen was really "hanging onto him" as you say, then she wouldn't have given him many chances to leave her. Instead, Ethan chose to stick with her instead of going to Theresa, and yet we're expected to believe he was somehow trapped in the marriage.
