2:28:45 How come Vesemir boost himself? Deploy effects resolve before the card appears on the board, right? So for example, Arnaghad can't see Vesemir on the board and can't damage it before the deploy effect resolves. Is it about the general difference betweem the wording "all allied units" and "all units on your side of the battlefield" that determines if the unit counts itself? Its still against the games rules regarding how the deploy effects resolve though, if the unit boost itself as well.
@andreluissoriano2 күн бұрын
At this point it’s just card by card. Yaevin for example counts himself in his own deploy but others don’t.

Inconsistent programming of effects was always a problem that CDPR didn’t care about

“All Witchers on your side of the battlefield” = includes itself vs “all allied Witchers” = does not include itself
@andreluissorianoКүн бұрын
@@honestabe411 I don’t like statements like this. It’s such a broad statement neglecting the efforts CDPR has done. It’s not inconsistent programming effects as much as representing what they want the card to do in concise words. Pretty sure they intend Yaevin to include himself for example, but just didn’t get to clarify in the text that it includes himself. “Didn’t care about” is such a skeptic way of looking into things. We have a stable game right now with almost all things consistent.

How do you feel about Glynnis and Ardal in the deck?
@shinmiri2101Күн бұрын
Glynnis has too low of a floor at 4 points. Ardal is okay but is not assimilate or real control, so it usually loses out to other options.

In the game against Madoc care to explain why not enslave Madoc?
@shinmiri2101Күн бұрын
Because Enslaving 6 power Saskia is more points for this round and also gives a better Artaud target. Madoc is not that big of a threat in this deck.

How artuad got a buff, i will never know. Next BC is gonna buff bribery as well for 7p fucusya. Anyway kids, remember to vote buffs for MO so they can only play 1 viable deck.

What are you crying about lol, NG is the most nerfed faction by far and they get one month of buffs and everyone loses their head.

@warriorkr Im an NG main. I know they got nerfs, but artuad was definately not a card that needed a buff. Change my mind

@@BiggusDingus325 Rarely does the council get the cartds that deserve a buff right. But Terranova can only be realisticly played in one archetype, which is assimilate. It's more an attempt to buff the archetipe than to buff Artaud itself

Who can take that mirror match seriously when the opponent's first play is discarding a card... while having Calveit in hand. And then Shinmiri plays Torres at 3 power, giving away an optimal coupe. The rest of the match is severely conditioned by this. Then, during the bleed, the oponent flagrantly overcommits the leaader, (being 13 points up with one extra card). This would have meant having a Terranova into bruthens for at least 3 assimilate procs, and at least two engines in the last round. These kinds of mistakes are not peculiarities of this match, by the way. Correcting these mistakes do not require Pajabols foresight, they happen for not paying a minimum of attention. Gwent's competitive level has declined. Although I'm glad there are still many competent players left that take the game seriosly (Shinmiri is one of them btw... most of the time. His main weakness is in fact being too thoughtful and roping.)
@shinmiri2101Күн бұрын
I agree both of the opening plays were probably mistakes, but that game was still a lot of fun despite those mistakes. The Double Cross leader was not necessarily a mistake. If he doesn't leader, we might be 2-0'ing him with Enslave and our Steffan. We would be around 40 points ahead and he would have a dead leader. You could try to do the math in 60 seconds and see if you can come up with a more definitive answer.
@enolquindosgonzalez190023 сағат бұрын
@@shinmiri2101you know his hand from the Torres you play in the first round. If he did not already throw in the mulligans, he has a Bruthens and a Vigo left. You are 13 down, your best leader, going all in, is a 12, stealing a Bruthens after damging it with Steffan; who would have played for 41 (6x4=28 in procs and 13 raw value). 13-12-41=40 to tie, 41 to win. His bruthens plays for 18 (4x2 in procs and 10 raw value, plus adds two more assimilate engines.) Then, his Viggo plays for 20 (6x2 in procs and 8 in raw value. 38 points in total. 41-38= 3 points short. But if he played his Steffan as his last card he would have survived with 2 more assimilate engines (you would have killed one with your steffan), still, extra 2x4 8 would have won by 5. Nevertheless, if he did commit the leader was doomed 100%. He still knows exactly his and your hand for the last round. He lost by 20, and that is counting the that copying his mage torturer was actually a missplay. Although he did not make the math he should have bluffed. He won the battle to lose the war.
