hi, great video, one thing to add especially on the north cornish coast sandy beaches is if fishing low tide in, is to watch out for the tide coming in around behind you. been caught out several times

Great videos, im going to be staying at perran sands for a week from this friday, im packing a couple of lure rods after bass, just curious if around perran sands / perranporth is any good, preferably easy access as will have 7yr old with me

Hi Chris, short answer is yes! Perranporth area is great for bass. Perranporth is another beach that we will are thinking of covering in this series as it happens. Come and see us in the shop and the lads will help you out with some likely spots to try 👍

@GwinearAngling unfortunately we didn't get any bass on the lures, but we did come to the shop and the staff were great, very helpful and knowledgeable, We brought a small rod and reel combo for my boy and went off newquay harbour, he caught loads of pollock to about 1lb and some gobys, blennys etc and the inevitable spider crabs lol. Thanks again, we will definitely be back when we are next in cornwall 👍

Hi Dan, Holywell Bay is mostly clean ground at either end but you do have options nearby such as Kelsey Head. Come into the shop when you’re here and we’ll help you out 👍
