Amuro and Char were the only pilots, who fought well in their original series, and after after 21 years after(without being aged) , so they showed the very much improvment. Uso was awesome too, at 12 years old, (although he was skilled in piloting from the beginning because of military grade ms simulatorsin his cellar), and if a sequel movie would have created to V Gundam, Uso would be the best. Seed was basically Mobile Suit Gundam: Emo version with flashier mobile suits and it lacked the cool battles and we got tame ones instead, oh and the last half of the season was almost all stock footage. Destiny was a trainwreck, it had some cool MS Design but that is it.

If you look closely, the guys are drawing up a new kind of Flag and another GN-X type. And the shots were definitely from a solar powered MS, so it was probably from the new flag

tieria never died, like ribbons his being (basically his mind and conciousness) was transfered to VEDA, remember how ribbons was shot, but it turns out the shot body was just one of many vessels he had at his disposal, well that is where tieria is, though instead of being in a body i think what we saw was a hologram of tieria, he can control his gundam from veda.

he was not referring to 00 having a 1/1 scale statue but rather gundam series itself being popular enough to get a 1/1 statue. And for gundam series to get full length movies is rare, so id say 00 is good enough to get that honor. Also since they moved it up from the seed movie

I dont think they're trying to "bring back" the overflags since they never really left. Graham's Masurao/Susano-o were still Flags. Id take it as more a subtle reference that Graham will be in the movie as well, with a NEW Flag too. I think its quite apparent that the 00 Quan[T]'s fangs can shoot beams as its in the trailer. But id Imagine it being more based on the Exia's design, and Setsuna's skillset as a pilot, that it will still heavily favor that massive GN Sword on its right arm.

It be pretty hard to have another twin drive suit. Only Exia and 0 Gundam's drives were able to sync up. Now that the 0 Gundam's drive is gone, there can only be fake twin drives.

Looks like they merged what was left of the 00 and EXIA to form the 00 QAN, same for the ARIOS and the GN-ARCHER. You could see the resemblances from their former suits.

Gundam Raphael looks awesome, although it's model counter part will probably run into some balance issues if they decide to make one :P I wonder if it will have an alternate mode like its predecessors? Maybe the backpack will become additional armor for the main body while the cannons attach themselves onto the arms like claws?

your not looking at the bigger picture gundam isnt just another anime its more like in its own category its something that actually gets mass media buff (1/1 gundam statue) what im saying is there arent alot of new gundam movies out (tv movies dont count cuz its just a retell) mobile suit and wing have hit the anime legends mark so this NEW movie is unique in its own right hey it even went 1st b4 the supposed Seed movie and i bet u most the ppl who commented here feel somewhat the same.

Well, Kira is what we would say the "New Type" of the CE universe. A 'Coordinator'. He wasn't exactly genetically engineered from what I gathered in the few eps I watched (please correct me if I am wrong). In Gundam 00, Setsuna being the first natural Innovator' is him being the 'New Type' equivalent of the AD universe.

The GN-XIV has a V-Fin and a GN-Field like the Garrazo. V-Fins For everyone! Except for you Graham, you get a GN-Flag with one head antenna longer than the other.

I'll assume Gundam Raphael's backpack can be its armor, since I notice the jewel in the backpack just above right the head can be the armor for the pelvis. The fact is successor to both the Virtue and Seravee, it should have a little of both. I'm glad that 00 Qan[t] has funnels/fangs now, in the past Gundam series, mostly people with great piloting skills can handle like machine. Setsuna definitely deserve to have a machine like that.

The Harute's mobile armor mode looks like the Ptolemy container Lassie was flying around in episode 22. I personal don't like the Boxy look, but the Kyrios/Arios colors helps. I hope the new GN Flag has the light blue Union Flag color scheme.

@vaughanify To be fair, I think you were arguing semantics to begin with, considering the last time we see him in the series he's fading away and essentially saying "I'll watch over you all, goodbye." Sure, he wasn't precisely dead in the traditional sense but it also wasn't clear he'd continue to play a role as a distinct personality in the story. In this trailer we see that he is, so the cries of "Tieria's back!" were quite appropriate.

Glad they streamlined the design for the new 00. I liked the first one but it always seemed a little off balance. Hoping the enemy suits will have their own unique designs as well, assuming it's suits they'll be up against.

I don't see any point of accusing the 00 Qan[T] of copying Nu gundam's funnel gimmick since that started back in seed & went overboard with seed destiny. Feels like another tribute to me such as having a masked character. At least in 00, pilots that had access to such an ability, they were still showcased with the mere weakness of aim & particle blasts taking out the bits/funnels/fangs.

Quan[T] is actually a combination of Gundam Exia and 00 Raiser, and Gundam Astraea. His arms are similar to those from Astraea, and his head and his ability to Quantufy is similar to 00 raiser's, and the rest of the body is from Exia. The only new thing is the funnels. Nonetheless the combination looks impresive and strong.

Funnels/bits were always a trademark of the best pilots riding the best units. Funnels were a very good weapon that gave a teamentous advantage to a pilot. U.C. weaponry systems were amazing and the funnel movement well thought out and planned. Can't say the same thing about about seed though. The series used the idea in a very unslightly manner.

There might be other gundams to appear besides the 4 we just saw. I cant foresee them downgrading from the 00 Raiser. Which makes me wonder how the 00 Quanta operates. Considering the design I only see a place for only one GN Drive and thats directly behind the central screen chest plate.

yeah well I was thinking that just due to the fact that the Qant isnt duel drive. I read somewhere it has a new type of GN Drive called the Overdrive which is specifically made for Quantizing on a whole different scal. But I dont know how true what I read is.
