I’m doing this right now but ran into the problem of the wrong pulley. Lexus dealer is pretty far but do you remember which one you purchased or did you buy the whole assembly. Thanks video is greatly appreciated.

Okay so imagine you spin that fan at 0:29 and the belts still on but it spins freely, does this mean the engine is seized?

What bolt did you use for the new pulley? The OE doesn’t work.

If I remember correctly I got the wrong pulley the first time. The original bolt did work with the final pulley I ended up with.

hey thank you for this great little video. I've seen in other videos that people will typically replace the whole assembly, ie, the metal assembly that the tensioner pulley is bolted onto. Have you done the assembly replacement before? I'm guessing it would only be necessary so that the bolt holding the tensioner pulley is compatible?

The bearings in the pulley are the wear items. You can do either depending on cost and availability.
