My concern with Gyokeres is if he is a similar case to Emi Buendia or not. Different positions, but all action players in different league(s) that might not necessarily translate, and unlike Sesko, Gyokeres is already in his mid 20’s. I don’t know if that is the case, the Arsenal transfer setup has enough credit in the bank to be trusted this summer, but if this summer is a flop that changes. i also doubt a move for Gyokeres, unlike Sesko previously because Gyokeres coming in has much more impact on Gabriel Jesus for next season, and there are no rumours regarding a Gabriel Jesus exit at this point.

@@Gunner_MAK Not everything is black and white, I don’t deal with certainties because I don’t claim to be an expert, hence a discussion style. My first paragraph can be summarized that I don’t know if Gyokeres’s game in different league(s) translates to success in the PL, and unlike Sesko maybe less ability for Arsenal coaches to refine any deficiencies at an older age *but* I trust the Arsenal scouts and overall transfer set-up (price prepared to pay if the scouts like a player) over any judgment I have. The second paragraph relates to the Sesko move making more sense to me in ability to have him developing next season at Arsenal while also keeping Gabriel Jesus (and Havertz). Gyokeres would be a buy not to come in as our third choice CF, but instead at least second choice, and that means much more likelihood Gabriel Jesus would have to exit, but we have seen no rumours of a Gabriel Jesus exit at this point. Edit - to summarize even more, when there were rumours of an Arsenal move for Sesko everything added up to make sense that the rumours were real. In contrast at present much less adds up for me to believe these Gyokeres rumours are real at this point.

I am aware that you can always lose a final, and if England would just have had a bad day, then there's nothing you can do. But that's not the case, it has been Southgate's fault. Look at what he always did and is doing again and tell me you don't see a pattern. His style of football was played decades ago. If we wanna glimpse into the profile of striker Arteta wants, we only have to look back at what we've tried to go for in the past. It's clear Arteta would like a tall physical centre forward to spearhead his team - Dusan Vlahovic, Ivan Toney, Sesko. So it makes sense that we are in for Gyokores. It's been a long time coming. I hope Arteta can get the profile of striker he's been longing for so long now 🤞I'm excited to see what he's masterminding
