Pros & Cons Review of a GY6 Chinese TaoTao Lancer 150cc Scooter after 1,000 Miles. Overall, the 150cc scooter runs well. I had three minor problems after riding my GY6 150cc scooter. However, they were small and easy scooter fixes. Great gas mileage. I get about 80mpg-90mpg.
For the price of little over $1,000, I definitely recommend it. The GY6 150cc motor engine has been pretty simple to work on. The oil changes for both the motor and gear/transmission oil have been easy. If I ever have any motor issues on the Chinese Scooter, I believe the numerous videos on youtube, will help me fix my GY6 150cc Scooter without a problem!
Although it is not a name brand like Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, or others, it is a great bike!
