@@RADGarageLOL😂, I understand. I too was a disbeliever for many years. But in the winter I have no access to running water so I started trying out different types of rinse less washes. And there is a slight learning curve, but now with these new sponges it is soooo easy and really scratch free. Yes admittedly it will not give you that deep clean but if it is a well maintained car, for maintenance washing it really is the way to go, for me. And also it is NOT for vehicles that are quite dirty. Cheers and look forward to seeing the next video 👍✌️☮️

Not having 100% access to the wheels, wheel arches and tight body gaps left me underwhelmed. I get the rinseless method, and I don't pretend to be skilled at it, but it is not my preferred method of washing a car and I can't fathom using it to work on a car belonging to someone else. It just doesn't feel 100% complete to me. Not shade being thrown on those that do, but that's how I feel about it.

I personally think you were using the Rinseless Wash like your suds wash, too many passes on the same spot. If you had any debris in the towel, you were more likely to inflict damage. Microfibres should have been folded into squares and each side WIPED once across the paint. Flip the cloth to a new side and repeat. The Ex Optimum Guru once said that Microfibre Cloths are designed to trap dirt, while the ONR Sponges are designed to release debris. The Audi still came out looking great 👍
@RADGarage3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I just did not have the patience to do it 100% the way I should. I had the towels sopping wet so hopefully that provided the lubricity necessary to prevent any damage. I am planning on re-coating this car in the next month or so, so it will be getting a full correction polish very soon.

Under stringent water restrictions, you’re certainly going to feel compromised using a rinseless wash. RW’s seem to be much misunderstood and maligned in the comments here. Think of RW solution as a similar product to a car shampoo-that you can wipe off instead of rinsing off, you just won’t experience the suds we have become so accustomed to. RW is a remarkable innovation where used properly can save significant time, water and cost, if that’s important to you.

Wheels is a hassle with rinseless, so I just do the front faces when doing rinseless, and take a deep clean when I do the full dance😅 I don’t have drainging in my garage, so do a quick pre-wash outside and finish with a rinseless inside is golden if it cold, windy or some rain.

Sponge designed for rinseless is a game changer. It glides better, and if it’s a good rinseless it will release the dirt quick in the bucket. Labocosmetica Idrosave is very good. Rinse less is great. It’s been around for 30 plus years now. It’s a skill to be learned just like polishing. So it may take people a while to get the hang out it. Foam is fun, but that’s it. So you may ask what about a muddy truck or gritty winter car? Pre rinse, pressure wash it off. Then follow up your contact wash with rinse less. People will still stick to foam and 2 bucket methods and that’s fine. But for a professional detailer that runs a Mobile business? Rinse less is the way.

@@RADGarageWheels can still be tackled with rinse less. If they’re super bad, agitate with brush and pressure wash them off. Same thing with paint, if it’s to bad, pressure wash, pre spray rinse less, contact wash with rinse less, dry and your done.
