Very hard to call the glossiest but this is my wifes car and she tells me the favourite product I've applied to her paint is Lithium colour crush

Tried it a while back, definitely was super glossy but took a little extra wiping that a normal or ceramic QD in my experience.

I found it much easier than a ceramic detailer personally but everyone experiences products differently

That looks insanely good. Would love to try it. I have litres of Mitch Ceramic Detailer and Bliss that I use for drying aids, so I'm good for a while. Both of these products have SIO2 in them. They do smear on darker paints, if used solely as a coating, but this can be simple to rectify if caught quick enough. When used as a drying aid this doesn't occur. I do like your experience with this product however. 🤔 Again, thank you. 👍😁

Ive got the ceramic detailer and it is a bit of a faff getting it just right, but still a good product. I like the Boss gloss a lot too. I'll give the Gyeon a go now because I really like an easy wipe down after wash.

Yeah I also really like the ceramic detailer but I agree it's a bit more work to get right especially with a black car boss gloss I'd also great and I'm going to pick up a new bottle soon to test it again as it's been a few years since I used it

On a 42 month old VW T Cross with dealer provided ceramic coating. The car is as good as new with regular washing with Bowden's Nanolicious and every couple of months a spray and wipe with Mother's Ceramic Detailer. Top gloss on a metallic grey car.

I already have the ceramic detailer and now I want this 😅 I noticed that the ceramic one isn’t very affective in lifting dirt, can this one be used in between washes safely?

I don't really use them for lifting dirt personally but I'd assume this one would be better. My opinion would be to mix up some rinseless wash for light dirt removal and keep a bottle and clean microfibre in the car

It really is nice, yeah that's how I use Ech20 mostly but I also spray on the paint a bit too as I go along as I don't worry about wasting 100ml per use

How do you rates this with boss gloss? I have been using the Mirch Ceramic Detailer. Pretty glossy with some additional beading.

Pretty similar in use but I haven't used boss gloss recently enough to compare gloss levels. I do want to pick up a bottle of it soon though But I do know boss gloss works out to be cheaper since it's right double the sized bottle

That’s some epic gloss you got there. I’m in the market for the absolute best quick detailer and I wanna get a ceramic and a non ceramic one. I’ve decided to get the Meguiars HCD for my SiO2 detailer and planning to get this Gyeon QD as my non ceramic detailer. I have a question though. Does this Gyeon QD mask the hydrophobic properties of my ceramic coating? Because if it does, this would definitely be a no buy for me. Really hope I get a reply. Have a great day brother!

Hi mate both great choices for sure. I haven't done a proper test on the gyeon to see if it masks but from just using it on the cars I will say no it doesn't mask. Usually I like to do one of my panel tests to 100% confirm though but I haven't done one on it yet

Any impacts to water behaviour with this as it’s not a ceramic based detailer? Megs Last Touch detailer is another one worth trying. Massive bottle for cheap which can be diluted. Just a straight detailer that has insane gloss at a great price when buying the 3.8L bottle.

I had the same thought and that's why I used it a bit before making the video. So can confirm definitely no impact the water behaviour from what i have seen. Have heard great things about the Meg's too and want to pick some up for sure. Where do you buy yours?

Thanks mate, that’s what I thought. The Megs last touch detailer didn’t have any impact either but I didn’t test it right after application and only at the next wash a week or so later. Depending on the product a coating underneath will usually still hold tension and pull beading, but some do clog up/impact water behavior. It’s possible it just could have worn off by the next wash. I have Gyeon Mohs on my car and it’s just so easy to apply the last touch without any ceramic content and I swear the gloss is insane. I bought a big 3.8L bottle at Repco during a sale for like $48 I think. There are a few different places you can get it from and I think one place has a sale atm for $60 which makes it like $8 for 500ml or something which is insane value. Smells good too!

After I wash my car I add Gyeon wet coat then rinse off, After I use Gyeon Ceramic Detailer as a drying agent. Should I stop the ceramic and use the gyeon detailer instead?

Yeah I don't think you'd need both so could replace the ceramic detailer with detailer and make the drying process a bit easier

It's not an Si02 product so it's more carpro elixir and gyeon ceramic detailer that are comparable. This is a lot easier than elixir to apply though

How does this compare to Gyeon Wet Coat?

Wet coat is a wet application sealant where as this is more of a drying aid or quick detailer which will give gloss but not hydrophobic water behaviour. A good combo could be used wet coat after washing and then use detailer whilst drying

you mentioned your car had been sitting in the garage for a couple of days and dust may have settled on the paint, whats the risk of scratching the car? Granted your garage looks 1000x cleaner than mine lol but i would be worried doing this after 2 days sitting in the garage...?

Definitely possible to create swirls doing this but I'm fine with that at this stage as the car will get repolished this year at some stage. But I'd say it's mostly going to be fine if using enough product and a fluffy microfibre

Yeah I somehow missed that it has carnaubra in it so that explains a lot. Still surprised that it doesn't seem to cause any issues with microfibres or coatings which is good

@EvolvedDetails Most shouldn't because it would be in fairly low quantities compared to a tin of wax, so it will wash off easily from a microfibre. Carnaubra will not damage a coating but it just doesn't last as long on it and it stops the coating working effectively. That's why I never used this on any of my coated cars.

@@snsum2853I've been using this for a few months and definitely haven't noticed any issues with the coating. I'm assuming gyeon formulated it to work well for coatings or else they wouldn't suggest it to be coating safe, but yes I know what you mean as I avoid wash wax products for the same reason haha
