Im going to try this one for sure. Interested in your comment that you used Gyeon wetcoat on the windshields for a long time. There is a lot of negativity about this practice, mainly pointing at wiper chatter issues, so id love to know how you did this successfully, as its far less expensive.

What about the wiper chatter? I’ve tried numerous coatings, including one professional doing it, and they all eventually chatter. I’ve even coated the wipers too, but same result. Thoughts? Thanks for the video!

A great point which I wish I would have talked about in the video. This coating is designed to have less friction when wipers interact. Lots of other "strong" coatings have caused chatter that l've tried

It works even better if you polish the windshield first with a dedicated glass polish and apply the product twice. Than the effect starts at around 20 mph and will last for 5000 to 6000 miles.

SOFT99 Glaco is way better than RainX. Lasts up to a year. No wiper chatter. No smearing. Great water beading. Watch the KZbin videos on the two part application process.

I apply concentrated Rain-X from a little bottle and then I use only Rain-X windshield wiper fluid. Orange windshield wiper fluid buy Rain-X constantly preserve original concentrated Rain-X. It does not wash it off at all even after I wash my car.

Honeycom lights messing the video but anyways nice sell pitch for Gyeon on this product easy application and ok durability way under same Gyeon View Q2 amazing glass coating and Flybyforte from CarPro those are the kings and not such a big deal to apply even for me.

Thanks Colteton … looks really effective… question, would this product work for the R1s headlights and front light bar? Or would you use a different ceramic product on those? I like Kyle have experienced that snow build up that’s really annoying and looking to use whatever you recommend

Ceramic coating, headlight lenses are plastic and require a coating for paint/plastic rather than glass

Actually the untreated side looks clearer with water on it whereas the treated side looks like the view is obstructed

Unfortunately, many States require wipers to be on when it’s raining, so the wipers will be used just as much as they were prior to using this product.

Maybe try thoroughly cleaning the inside with an alcohol mix before using a glass cleaner. The haze may be a build up from chemical off gassing from the cars interior.

I use Wet Coat as well and it has essentially baked in to my windshield at this point. Still fighting some chatter though.

This is hit and miss. Sometimes it lasts 2 weeks sometimes 7 months. Using the wipers will remove this very quick

Wipers don't remove mine quickly at all. Have had 1 coat on mine for over 4 months with some heavy rain and it's still going strong

No, it's not! The glass needs to be very clean. A prep spray is stronger than most of window cleaners. No wiper chatter at all. Than the effect starts at around 20 mph and will last for 5000 to 6000 miles. Since you won't need the wiper blades above 20 mph, you shouldn’t use them. The less you use the wiper blades, the longer the product will last.

No, not at all. Since you won't need the wiper blades above 20 mph, you shouldn’t use them. The less you use the wiper blades, the longer the product will last. So switch off the automatic, and you are good.

LOL something must have gone wrong cos it looks absolutely horrific after buffing. Camera malfunction? seems like a botched first coating lol it didn't even buff off, at 10:38 you can still see the hazing marks of the product on the windscreen lol
