I will go with JBL Pulse 3...no doubt, aesthetics & a 360 deg light show with 360 deg sound, with the Light show driven by Audio Playback...nothing can be more cool than that... !!!!

According to this video the bass for the charge 3 delivers better than the other two. It may be the oldest of the three but that doesn't necessarily make the other two better. In my opinion the second best is the XB30 and then the JBL Pulse 3. Although it is the newest bluetooth speaker it is ridiculously overpriced and dead last when referring to sound. It had the lowest decibel levels of the three as well. Honestly I would rather purchase a second Charge 3 and pair those rather than to buy a $200 Pulse 3 that is not much competition for the older models.

I have the Jbl Xtreme and looking for something with LESS bass... (lol i know) but what people need to know is that bass is almost the least important aspect of a speaker! Speaker bass (over boosted) kills the beauty of vocals and instruments! So the Pulse 3 really sounds great if you want more emphasis on the vocals and instruments.

Xb40, but the difference between the Xb40 and Xb30 is so small I say just get the Xb30. theres an XB40 vs XB30 on my channel you should check it out.

I got my charge 3 for 120 at target and am going to get clip 3 when it comes out. I am playing fela kuti shuffering and shmiling but only the first 9 minutes of song because the instrumental will cause you to want to dance and wish you're speakers were louder.

I had the xb 40 and returned it the next day. It was trash voices sound mumbled and there was no treble at all. It did have a nice big sound with a lot of punch but lacking the top end. The charge i had for a while till the driver blew up (warranty covered) it sounded nice and full with here and there lack of treble but the allround sound was way more detailed compared to Sony. Now i got a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 4. The bass is as deep as sony while keeping voices clean and seperated. Really enjoy the Onyx but its not meant for portable use. Poor battery life (for weight saving) but it sounds really good and no noticable dsp fckin around constantly like with jbl/sony its well balanced at all volumes no need for bass boost or anything

They are in different classes first of all. Second of all, because they are in different classes, the Sony sounds clearer crispier and much bassier than the Charge 3 (I have both speakers).
