Gymnast of the Year Awards | Rising Star Whitney Bjerken

Whitney was a nominee for International Gymnast Magazine’s Gymnast of the Year! Whitney and her parents are in Las Vegas to attend the Gymnast of the Year Awards Banquet. Everyone was excited to have fun in Las Vegas and to see if Whitney would win the Junior Olympic Gymnast of the Year Award.
In this video, everybody gets ready for the big night…the hair, the dress, the shoes…everything has to be just right. Coach Ron is in town to support Whitney and cheer her on. It’s perfect that Coach Ron is with Whitney for the Gymnast of the Year Awards Banquet, because Whitney wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for him. The Awards Banquet was awesome and had some of the world’s best gymnasts in the room. 3-time All Around World Champion Simone Biles and Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman were both there!.
Whitney was a Top 15 nominee for the Gymnast of the Year award, but she did not win the award. An incredible 10 year old gymnast named Annie Beard won the Junior Olympic Gymnast of the Year Award. But…Whitney did win the Rising Star Award…which was pretty cool!
