Hey Magnus, you wanted feedback on the production. i liked the video, but every time you point to holds and explain a boulder the camera stays on you and we do not get to see the wall. The biggest improvement would (from my point of view) likely be to - either have a long shot from like hip hight several meters behind you looking slightly up, so we can see you at the wall explaining it, and get a feel for the steepness, - or have you just as a voiceover, while the camera pans from hold to hold along the boulder. Best regards, and keep inspiring people to share your passion in sports.

I absolutely love the floating text showing the grade of the route in both European and American grading scales, so I think it'd be nice to add something similar when he's explaining the route to camera with that long shot you mentioned. I think it'd look nice and be extremely helpful to new climbers that have a hard time visualizing a verbal explanation of a route, or even remembering what he said when they watch him climb the beta.

@@Skaane The editing was great but your camera work needs some work. Try to stay steadier and get wider shots. A nice gimbal is your friend if you don't have a super steady hand. Editing and camera angles were spot on. It was a good variety of shots and the cuts were generally good, maybe a few that could've been done smoother, but honestly anyone who doesn't edit wouldn't really notice. Only criticism would be maybe improving on smoothness of the camera when following movements, even standing back a bit more could help, but really it was only a few times I noticed it and other times they were closer it was done well. Really liked the montage bit at 2:18 - 2:40, slow-mo effect was cool and background music was good too! So overall really good haha, definitely a really good starting place when filming and editing something new. 🤙🏻

I wish during explanations/route readings if we could get inserts of the entire boulder as well. 3. There were a few times a conversation had an abrupt cut to a drone transition, I wish there was another half second or so to breath so that no one talking got abruptly cut off. These are just nit picks for improvement honestly, I really enjoyed the video Markus did well and Marcus was fun to watch!

While the video quality was good, I felt it lacked some of the personal elements that are often a great part of your videos. Normally your videos make it feel like I (one of the viewers) are literally hanging out with you at the gym climbing and having fun. This definitely felt more like I was "watching a show" from a distance, separated from you and the gym, if that makes sense. As others stated, the editing was ok, the music was a little loud at times, etc. but was overall fine. Beyond climbing, Magnus, you truly have a knack for videography/photography, and sharing what you're seeing and experiencing with your audience. This was missing.
