The first, you should eat without sambal. You have to feel the original taste. Sambal is only optional. 😋

If you don't like spicy its better not to add sambal in it. Don't follow advice of local ppl who like spicy and tell you to always pour sambal in your food. They shouldn't do that! My advice, don't listen to someone telling you to put sambal on your food, it just spoils the taste of good food and makes it bad and spicy just because you followed their advice. Don't force yourself to eat sambal, because sometime it's gonna be really spicy. And i notice a lot of people are recommended you to tried the original taste of the dishes without added the sambal at first. Note: sambal is optional. Even for Indonesian like me, i didn't always add sambal to my dish, because it depends on the dishes. Sometimes some dishes are better without sambal, and some other are better with it ❤️

I really love your vlog in exploring and experiencing more authentic foods. Those foods you tried were part of Nusantara food which originally comes from different places in Indonesia. In my opinion, chicken porridge is more suitable for breakfast because the texture is softer for the first intake when the stomach is still empty and of course without chili sauce so as not to shock the throat 😁

Just a little advice for you Suzanna, I think its hard for you to handle spicy sambal in Bali so for the next time I hope you start just a small bite of sambal first and if you not enough spicy add more but in small amount, example quarter of tea spoon first Okay Happy trying okay Stay save 😊😊😊

Before you try Indonesian food... you should try the originaly taste at first...don't add sambal then try 1 or 2 spoonful and then you may add sambal little bit...taste it 'till you find which one you prefer (with sambal or not) btw if you wanna have boom subscriber you must learn bahasa

Susan u must taste the typical original food/soup or others without add another spice, ketchup or other at first ..so u know how the originally food. .then after that if u want to, u can add others spice like sambal, kecap manis, souce...that's how mostly Indonesians eat and enjoy food..👏👏👍
