@Centurion8510 Protestantism might can deliver you from alcohol, drugs, and depression for awhile but soon all this will return. As you begin to see the emptinrss of Protestantism, depression especially will return to you. When you were Cathilic, did you ever go to Confession? Did you use contraceptiont? Did you go to Mass every Sunday, missing only when absolutely necessary? Did you ever marry a divorcee, or were divorced and remarried yourself? Did you make constant effort to refrain from impure thoughts? In other words, did Catholicism fail you due to your own lack of effort?

In Protestantism it doesn't matter because according to Protestantism you can commit all the sins you want so long as you believe. Statistics show far more Protestants commit suicide than do Catholics. Philip Melancthon was Martin Luther's right hand man..Melancthon' s mother, who had stayed Catholic and not joined the Lutherans, wrote to her son and told him she was dying, and asked him if she should become a Lutheran. "Stay Catholic," he wrote back. "Our religion is better to live by but theirs is better to die by."

Maccabees 12:41-46 Purgatory. So many souls are there to wash out any worldly attachments aka sins. They know they are going to Heaven tho so they are so happy to be there as well. What did Jesus say to aposlte John while dying for our sins on the cross "BEHOLD THY MOTHER"John 19:26-27. The Catholic church is the only Church that has the whole Bible, and has incorputible bodies of saints, made by Jesus himself. We have Jesus truly present in the Holy eucharistic. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:15‭-‬17 KJV Because correct me if I'm wrong Paul wrote Timothy and I'm using a Protestant Bible the King James's what Paul said was as from child you have known the holy scriptures now I don't know how much Bible history you know but Timothy was a very young man and the Bible wasn't compiled as scripture at this time so what scriptures was Paul referring to it couldn't have been the New Testament it wasn't fully written and the Catholic church hadn't put it together when Timothy was a child we never got the Bible to maybe 450 year after the death of Jesus so Paul was referring to the Old Testament so again brother how do you know from the Bible alone that them for Gospels are inspired by God and how do we know who wrote them I just want you to tell me and show me from the Bible alone where you get this information or none of these Gospels claim to be inspired by God and we do not know who wrote them I just want you to tell me god bless you

one must be baptized in order to be saved. Jesus said: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved (Mark 16:16). Please note that baptism follows belief. One who does not believe the Gospel cannot be truly baptized. Therefore, babies cannot be baptized for they are too young to (1) have sin, (2) hear the Gospel, (3) repent of sins, and (4) confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
