i got a mobius maxi 4k from amazon for the same price point as everyone else. i got it primarily for my fixed wing rigs and use the cube form factors for my drones. of course, the orange doesn't hold a candle to the Session but it was never supposed to. just be a less expensive alternative with decent quality.

Mobius is making progress but for now I'll stay with the Runcam 5 orange. We'll just see what the future holds.

It’s definitely a perfect camera for the dash or even on a motorcycle. Somewhere that mounting isn’t a problem and cinematic isn’t the goal.

Hi Albert. Great review and comparison of the Mobius action camera. Image quality is reasonably good concidering the price. I could see it being good for RC planes or cars. The lower profile. But for fpv drones the Runcam Orange cube shape is best imo. Lots of mounts. More room for the lipo behind the camera . Bonus, it's Orange. I've sent it flying after a crash, easier to find. 😎

Orange is good just not great results with Gyroflow. It seems like a lot of the cheap cameras have this in common.

You're right, there are loads of options now, just depends if you think it's worth the effort to get better footage. Or just pay for a better camera

The video quality is decent if all you're wanting to do is share your flights with friends and family, but I would rather wait and pay more for the Firefly X-Lite V2. I thought the V1 had really good image quality, so I can't wait for the V2. Not too long ago, RDQ was selling Mobius mounts with huge silicon mounts in their clearance section; but they've completely emptied their clearance section. I had never seen a Mobius before, but I bought one of the mounts in case I found another camera that I could use it with; still sitting in a box. Thanks for the info and comparison, but I'll wait to see your review of the Firefly X-Lite V2 and probably get one of those.
