I called them brain mushrooms because thats what they looked like i was young lol they are cool looking mushrooms people get curious about them Some older people call them morels :(

Calf brain and snow mushroom are nick names for this . Yes , g. Escalanta and a couple others must be boiled twice . And yes people should research

Great idea but we need lots of practice with this name lol Oh my friends day used to boil the 2x then fry them my friend said they never ate any But he did....after kinda recovering from lung cancer he got major stomach problems in his old age He ate them for a long time but don't know exactly how long You can get rid of some of the toxin but some can still accumulate in your body might develop problems you might not This guys problems might not be from the mushroom at all but i learned he used to eat these mushrooms after he died when i started learning about them I don't want to pass bad information on either but with stories people can be cautious and make up their own mind
