HK. HUGS and KISSES. Theodore Heckler snd Edmund Kock sure created a top notch firearms company. I have the VP9 and it is fabulous. One of th4 best triggers in the business, and HK made subtle changes and enhancements to make it a higher level than Glock.

Great gun, not perfect! Own 2, Needs the 18Lb recoil spring (not that .40 cal 22lb spring? Or if you have early #’s, the problematic 17lb tabbed spring.), The striker indicator cover needs replacement to close that hole, & finally if you clean the weapon & pull the striker that plastic striker sleeve is crap! Add in a trigger job for EDC & she’s a beautiful perfect weapon!

Nice review. Love my VP9. It is awesome. It is currently the most accurate polymer gun I own. Although I just bought a Walther PDP that is giving it a strong run for the money. Also excellent. I might give the inside line to the PDP for its compact ergos. The VP9 is the bigger gun, but the trigger breaks so nicely and so predictably it makes it easy to shoot well. Neither of these guns slouch in any of these areas and I can’t really pick a favorite yet. Both are excellent.

One more pretty nice tool from H&K Factory Looks very good when fired. The feed back seems to be very fast and the overall reloading Cycle seems faster then on other Pistols i've seen and used, also it seems to have quite a pack of punch in recoil so im slightly wonder about Steve said it has lightly less recoil on it in the end of vid but ok there is a pro speaking. i hope to make some experience with this one as well somewhere in future. Very nice Firearm. Ps.: thats so cute how shes wiggling around at 3:15 lmao just Cute, she's to cool

I don't have a VP 9 but do have a VP 40 and it's my best shooting gun . Since it's my second gun I bought I've gotten used to the paddle release and have trouble with my other button release ones . I watched this and other videos on it to see if it's as good as my very crisp clean breaking trigger . Seems I can recommend either / both .

I'm a leftie and I love my VP 9! I love the paddle mag release. The ergonomics are A+. Just the ease of the magazine being inserted into the gun. The gun just feels, fits and functions so well. The HK slide unlike my S&W's pulls back much easier and smoother. I have been shooting since 1980 and the VP 9 is the most accurate gun I have ever shot. Much love to S&W but my HK VP 9 is my new favorite! Great video thanks for posting.

A friend and her boyfriend own the Walther PPQ and Steyr M9-A1 respectively. I borrowed both pistols and took them to the range and rented a VP9 for a 3-way comparison. For me, the VP9 came away a clear winner, enough so that a week later I went back and bought one. Why? The grip and muzzle flip (or almost complete lack thereof) on the Steyr were outstanding, but the sights were distracting for me. My friend adores them, but they were just too weird to my eyes. The triggers and grip on the Walther and the HK are virtually identical, but the recoil on the Walther would cause the gun to kick back into the top of my right thumb, to the point where I ended up with a bruise on the big knuckle. The recoil on the HK is straight back, and the muzzle flip is negligible, resulting in a stupid accurate gun that is not only fun to shoot, but not tiring. YMMV, but for my money the VP9 is the best of the best in the polymer 9mm class on the market.

Had both my Glocks jam while shooting. My VP9 never has... Also watched MAC's "torture test" on his video. Not only was it absolutely absurd, he did not subject his Glock to the same "testing". It seemed like he lost his temper and used it as an excuse to abuse the gun rather than use common sense or any form of objective testing. Shooting a few hundred or thousand rounds through a gun before cleaning is objective testing, throwing a pistol against cement or running it over with a truck to see how much damage you can do to it is not objective when testing a pistol for the sole purpose of reliability during a course of fire.

There's other videos showing the VP9 successfully perform various torture tests. Most popular pistols have at one point or another failed certain tests.
@si_vis_pacempara_bellum49068 жыл бұрын
Many videos showed MAC's bias. And frankly, I understand his frustration, the gun malfunctioned during the water test. But it's very likely something coincidentally stucked in the striker channel or something. And he started to destroying the gun. But over all, VP9 is a very reliable gun
@si_vis_pacempara_bellum49068 жыл бұрын
+mrvaperz23 me too.. I stopped watching his channel after that VP9 video. Not that I'm a HK fanboy or anything. Is just.. You can feel the bias through the screen of your phone when you watching his videos
@realMP878 жыл бұрын
That torture test was a joke. The likely hood of finding yourself in a self defense situation where the gun goes through that kind of abuse just before you need to defend yourself are imaginably small. That video served as entertainment and nothing else. Lastly, the outcome of 1 test with 1 sample is not representative of the full population (millions).
@gearrunner8 жыл бұрын
+MP87 if you watch the very first thing he did during that test was put it in water no mud just water. So with what you are saying the likely hood of when you need it and it be raining at the same time could never happen???? I was just trying to help him make sure his runs when he needs it. Personally I own several HK products including a VP9 but I am not a fan boy to any manufacturer. I am a fan boy of products that work! So I don't care if you all decide to conceal carry pencils it don't matter to me I was just trying to help someone make sure they were carrying the best tool for the job. So good luck!
