Can confirm your CoG suggestion. I also started with the manufacturer value of 11.5cm. Plane was unflyable. Then moved to 15.5cm. Beautiful.

Oh wow, that does sound good. I’ve never tried a 6 blade multi-rotor prop. Just watched this. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJ-yq4emdt-Aq8k

I got some extra Gemfan Flash 6042 6x4.2x3 6 Inch 3-Blade props that I used on my Hubsan 501S drone. Maybe these could work on these jets as well?

I almost finished building my F-35 glue-n-go kit today, just have to add the electronics and done. It was a fairly easy build considered I've done several SU-27s and a F-22 kits already. I'm also adding landing gear that I bought from Aliexpress designed for these planes.

I am not surprised about your wayward CoG with your set-up. The 2826 motor is too long and heavy for these G&G machines ... a better motor is the Hobby King (Mongoose) 2205 2350kv 470W motor with 5.5 x 5.5 race prop - it fits perfect - weight is a lot less. With the 5.5 x 5.5 on a 3S 2200 - you will have good power. Check out my KZbin channel for the Mig29 setup I have ...

Hi An you tell me what kind of zip ties you use ? Are they modified to harder ? Thanks
@2fly4awifi87
@2fly4awifi87 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, they’re standard zip ties, not modified. Glue one zip tie on top of the other, and add another - 3 layers total to make them more rigid.

HI I LOVE THESE RC PLANES, I ALWAYS WANTED TO FLY ONE AND OWN ONE, BUT I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MACHINES AND REMOTE CONTROLS AND WHAT ARE THE NAMES OR PARTS IT NEEDS TO WORK TO FLY, I WANNA LEARN AND GET ONE??? CAN YOU HELP?
@2fly4awifi87
@2fly4awifi87 5 жыл бұрын
Yes, the best way is to learn on a flight simulator first. Once you’ve mastered takeoffs, landings, and trained your eye/hand coordination. Then get your first high wing trainer plane. Next are the low wing warbirds. Then this type of pusher prop airplanes or EDF electric ducted fans. For sims search for: RF8 Horizon Hobby Edition with InterLink-X Controller (RFL1000). www.horizonhobby.com/product/airplanes/airplane-radios/simulators/realflight-8-horizon-hobby-edition-rfl1000

Hi.. That foam 5mm îs hard or soft? Is not epp?!
@2fly4awifi87
@2fly4awifi87 6 жыл бұрын
Rohan 67 it’s somewhere between hard and soft. I’ve hit a light pole pretty hard, and the foam just crinkled. I straightened it and just hot glued it back into place.

Hi carlo8336, I see you’ve already translated to English. Thanks. I used plastic zip ties. Zip tie “cravatta a zip” or cable ties“fascetta.”

Use 3 zip/cable ties layered on top of each other with glue for the nose gear, and use 2 zip/cable ties for each side of the rear gear. That’s a total of 7 zip/cable ties for the airplane.
