It all depends on your employer If petition is filed in premium, it is completed in 15 days but usually employers go with normal petition which takes 3 to 6 months Documentation for petition is requested by Employer first from the candidate which itself takes somewhere around 1 month to and fro Work authorization anyways starts by 01-Oct of the petition year so we have enough time to be ready to fly by then

Hello, I think you should try to find a new employer. If you already have H1B Approved, you can try for companies who have offices in US, and matches your skill set and is open for Transferring H1B for you.

I do have finger prints but when i went for biometrics to update my aadhaar only few fingers are detected by the machine so if i go for h4 biometrics will that be a problem. Is there any other way to get the biometrics done

Hi, It would be advisable to carry a client letter issued on client letter head as it is an evidence of true client deployment at onsite. Please try to get it as far as possible. If there are certainly no chances of getting it due to any circumstances, then you can atleast carry the SOW.

It may not necessarily be leading to rejection, there are chances of administrative processing slip if the visa officer is not convinced. If your client and employer both are big names, then visa officer might not even ask for it. Your employer should try to arrange client letter for you, it’s not a big deal for them.

But in case the documentations of candidate and Company is not complete, then there can be chance of rejection or they may give you 221G to ask for further information. Hi Zeenia No, it is not like that, H4 is dependent on H1B so if H1B if only stamped for next 1 year you will get H4 also for one year. Maximum is 3 years at one go and then it gets renewed upto maximum of 6 years in total

Hi Shah, This was the same case with my mother as well, I put her complete full name in Surname and Given Name as FNU (First Name unidentified/unknown), As in US, Last name is mandatory so its better to go with FNU in any such case. Thanks for appreciating the content, This keeps us going!
