Hi.. i've a doubt regarding my H1B DS-160 form filling & visa interview slot booking. In DS 160 i've given a tentative travel date to US as Mar 15th & submitted the DS 160. For Biometrics & Visa Interview i got slots on Apr 7th & 8th respectievly. Will there be any problem druing the interview regarding this. Can I submit a new ds160 with new tentative travelling date & update the new DS160 confirmation no. during the Bometrics.??

@@sachiniKadahetti what biometric fees? You don't need to pay anything to anyone. You only have to pay the visa fees eventually when you're trying to get the US visa interview slot and even that is paid to the US embassy and not to any company

HI... I already had business B1/B2 visa which is valid from 2017-2027; but i never travelled to US till now on business purpose or personal reason. Now my H1B is approved & while scheduling the Visa Appointment it's giving me an option of interview waiver. So my question is; as i already had B1/B2 visa, can I opt for interview waiver for H1B or do I need to attend for interview for sure...?

You'll have to attend the interview. That waiver is no longer there but the website still keeps showing it. Please opt for the interview

you can't apply for her visa. She has to apply for her own B1/B2 visa which is a visitor visa. Also, her reason to visit the US cannot be to help you with your delivery. It will be rejected because the US views that as taking away a job from someone you would've hired to help you.

From 1 consultancy, I appli3d for H1B with $10 and i got selected in the 2nd round on Aug 2024. Now they are asking for 6 lacs rs for 3 year visa and 1 year contract with them Also they are telling that this 6 lacs money will be refunded once you get the job in US also they will assist for getting job. Is this safe ? Anybody experience this type of process ?

Indian consultancies are too dangerous.They gave all the false statements till you pay money.because they work for the commission based. Don’t pay any money. First Ask them will they give you bond for same. Think once, most of the consultancies will give fake clients. You don’t know how many USA consultancies will use the same client. Might be same client letter will be given to many people. Even though those are registered in H1B Visa jobs websites don’t trust untill they give you bond. Once you got 221g after your visa interview they simply blame on client or they will say it all depends on uscis process. My suggestion is first ask your friends in USA to check whether that Consultancy and client is physically available in USA. Check their office landline and contact numbers are working or not. Next take bond from them for the money you are paying. Ask them if your Visa is rejected then ask to refund all the money. If they agree for these then proceed otherwise you will lose your hard earned money. Most important thing is you should meet the person and take all necessary details like id proofs and visit their office . Most of the Indian consultancies will run their offices in small 2 bhk apartments for 6 months. Once they got money then they will close their office in that location. My final suggestion is if they give you bond then go ahead otherwise leave. Don’t lose your valuable money. Hope it hepls!!

One correction : For biometrics, if you are going with a kid then a photo is needed. 51*51 mm white background with no borders.
