Bobby Lee's ability to be so brutally open and vulnerable and sit on the podcast admitting to being uncomfortable and not ok, shows so much strength. Showing vulnerability and laying your feelings out might mean you feel weak but there is true courage in displaying all your emotions and knowing you don't like ridicule, admitting that and then accepting you may receive it. I wish he knew how strong of a person he is and role model. There is a very low level of ego to him and he clearly struggles with the shallowness of the showbiz side of things.

@millardfilmore14032 жыл бұрын
Exactly. To be honest he completely misunderstands the difference in the way people view him and Brendan. Like the idea that Brendan believes BObby would actually even dedicate YEARS to concocting some Reddit scheme to "bring down" Schaub makes it seem like Bobby is some jealous lower tier comedian trying to do anything he can to bring Brendan - a comedy legend - down. I'm sorry but what? Are we living in the same reality? Bobby is ABOVE Brendan in EVERY WAY. Even when it comes to podcasting this holds true. Compare the numbers when Bobby goes on someone elses podcast - even if that podcast is extremely extremely small -vs Brendan and you will see. Bobby MATERIALLY improves the numbers of the podcasts he is on just because people love him so much and find him legitimately funny. He does not understand that people genuinely dislike Schaub from deep in the core. That sort of feeling is so strong it means if Brendan Schaub is arguing with you publicly then there is a 95% chance we will take the other person's side no matter WHO they are. Not just based on some anti-Brendan principle, but because the dumb fuck is so dumb that he would undoubtedly be the one in the wrong anyway. And the entire internet knows that. I dont blame Bobby for not really getting it because I dont think he spends time on youtube and places like reddit so why would he know how much people hate brendan? But still i wish he wouldn't be so worried, he is levels above Brendan. Schaub shouldn't even be able to press him like that.

@vergaerd2 жыл бұрын
I think Brendan has lost his magic somewhere during the pandy wandy. When you go back to early KATS episodes and see him riff, banter and bounce off Theo Von, it really works. But, only really in that setting, with people they are close with. Otherwise it would be considered bullying instead of "breaking balls". It really seems he's gotten insecure. Bobby just wants to keep enjoying his time at the Comedy Store in LA. All these guys as well as absolute legends hang out there, so I can see why he's afraid of any form of "backlash" IRL.

Yeah early King and the Sting is great. I think Brendan spent so much time trying to grow his business recently that his performance as the on-screen talent has suffered. I was so surprised that his recent special was so bad. I really thought it was going to be better. He had to do better. It was terrible. He just doesn't seem to be enjoying himself recently. Has Bobby Lee forgotten he was on the elite cast of MAD TV? He's acting so insecure, I'm so glad you finally reinstated that he is a fucking legend at the end of the podcast... @@Alfredo-lol correction. Khalyla had the easiest ride to a podcast “career”. She literally met Bobby on Tinder while hooking up with a dude. She used Bobby to get her own fame going, and does nothing to help him. She bags, and birches about Bobby all the time when she doesn’t even work. I sense that boby is very smart. Over analytical at times, but he seems like he is playing a game of chess in his decisions in life, and I respect that heavily. There are so many people who speak their mind the second it comes to their brain and it gets them in a lot of trouble or makes them look like a complete buffoon, but Bobby is way too ahead of the curve. I love his philosophy of just wanting to make people laugh. It shows that his passion does not get in the way of his quarrels or problems in life. I am personally going to watch his stand up and listen to his podcast because I feel like I can learn a lot from a unique human like Bobby

Bobby genuinely hates conflict and confrontation and avoids it at all costs. It's crazy that he wanted to just continue pretending like things are cool with these guys at the Comedy Store to avoid any conflict when what they did is totally unacceptable.
